Enjoyed one night here at the "springs". Beautiful exterior, wonderful architectural features on the exterior and the interior.

The hotel is very cool. They have a mezzanine area with snacks, coffee, tea and water available to guests all day and then they have an evening snack.

We were on the 8th floor, corner room. What a view. The rooms are small, remember its an old hotel, but not in a bad way (*

Nice bed, robes provided, TV, iron, blow dryer. Comfy bathroom.

The room was quiet and you could see the whole town below and the hills in the distance.

Stay here. Its nice.

Room Tip: Upgrade to one of the top floors, its worth it.

Not only is this a beautiful historic hotel, it is located in the center of a town AARP has recently included as one of the ten best small towns in America. The rooms and the whole hotel are beautiful with loads of extras (including a great breakfast buffet, tea and snacks in the afternoon) and a very gracious staff. For a real treat and great views, ask for a corner room on the upper levels. Let the sunshine in!

We stayed one night at the Ashland Springs Hotel. Very nice and comfy bed. Bathroom quite small, particularly the shower. Loved the lavender bath sachet! Can't say the continental breakfast was good. I've had better at Comfort Suites! Skip it and go down the street to the Morning Glory. Haven't been there but heard it is worth the wait. We wished we had had the time to go but had to get an early start. The downtown is lovely with a variety of shops and restaurants and the hotel is right in the middle. Would most definitely stay there again!

I was here with a travel group so I can't report on the pricing, reservation process or check in/out. The hotel is beautifully decorated - the lobby itself kept us busy for quite a long time as there were a lot of displays and history to study. It's true that the rooms are smallish, but they have every amenity one could need and were very clean.

We ate at The Lark Restaurant for dinner one night and breakfast the next day and it was very good. Again, we were part of a group and we had pre-ordered our meals so they had plenty of time to get ready for us! No one could find any problems with the food and I enjoyed the furnishings and menu.

We spent the evening across the street at the OSF and in the morning we strolled through Lithia Park. Neither of these venues should be missed - especially Lithia Park in the Spring or Fall!

I would stay there again......

This was our second time staying at this hotel. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room was spacious with a sofa sitting area and was tastefully decorated. We love the location close to restaurants and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters. There is breakfast included which was good and different treats through the stay including tea and wine tasting from 3-5 and late night snack from 9-12. There is a good AAA discount but it is not valid if you are staying a weekend night. Parking is also free and convenient. We love staying here and would recommend it.

Room Tip: Rooms with 2 queen beds seem larger.

We were visiting Oregon for 2 weeks and spent time in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. This hotel is perfect in terms of location and amenities. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, the room had a great sitting area and the breakfast buffet was way above average. We also ate in their restaurant Larks and had a wonderful meal. But the best thing is the location right downtown for shopping and the theatres. The town has an amazing variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Room Tip: We arranged for a QueenQueen, a large room with a good sitting area. All the rooms seemed to be well...

We again spent three nights at the Ashland Springs Hotel while seeing plays at the Shakespeare Festival. We have booked the same room in the hotel for the last three years. Park the car in the lot behind the hotel and only use it to store blankets or cushions to use at the outdoor Allen Elizabethean Theatre during the evenings. The three theaters are less than a block away. The rooms at the hotel are well appointed and comfortable. The Continental breakfast is very good, although the only hot item is oatmeal. After the theatre in the afternoon there is tea or ice water and cookies, and in the evening after the play there are more cookies, popcorn, mixed nuts, and tea. Gigi, the concierge, is very helpful with dining recommendations, among other things. The staff is very friendly. Since the hotel dates from the 1920s, although modernized, rooms can be smaller and there is only one elevator for the nine floors, but we will continue to return as we find that the hotel has charm, is well located and offers everything that we want.

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper floors have views over the buildings in town. Rooms are in various sizes at vari...
