We found the Palm to be a fantastic place to spend a weekend. The room was clean, comfortable and stylish and super quiet, while the staff was friendly and helpful. Old Motor Lodge charm with modern touches and beautiful landscaping, we will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Stayed in many places and this is one of my favs. A blend of guesthouse and motel. Reminds me of the motor courts out of the 50-60's yet modern feature. Clean rooms. A great kitchenette with a stove fridge combo. Cozy for two. I've stayed here many times over the years and keep coming back. Room 4 is a deluxe queen that is nestled in a back corner from the road. Quiet. Good ground coffee (after all this is Ashland and across from the university). A minute walk from Morning Glory- great brkfst and lunch place. Comfy bed with cotton sheets and a cotton blanket.

I had stay at its sister hotel ,Columbia, in Ashland but this time we needed a little bit more modern with TV, The Palm is sweet, beautiful gardens, nice beds and bedding. A bit small but good for couple of nights ( although that may be our specific room for 4 ) It was room # 2, a queen bed and a full bed but with a little alcove, it is a nice set up. Also next to Morning Glory!!! a great breakfast/lunch place. You do have to get in the car if you want to enjoy downtown but here you are close to the Southern Oregon University campus which is nice as well. The service was excellent and I will love to be back in the spring or summer, to enjoy the wonderful garden and the cute pool!

We (2 adults, 2 children under age 5) really enjoyed our one-night stay in a deluxe suite at the Palm Cottages during our road trip from California to BC in mid-December. The suite's sleeping areas had two queen beds--one bed was in a room "separated" from the main room by a curtain (no door). There was room enough for our younger child's travel crib. The bathroom was spacious and had a roomy shower (no tub). The full kitchen was separated from the sleeping area by a door and was complete with range top, oven, microwave, coffee maker, crockery, utensils, dishes, etc., and had a table that seats four people. While the kitchen maintained a retro look, the sleeping areas and bathroom were contemporary. Though not really large enough for the kids to play much inside the suite (which shouldn't be an issue in nicer weather anyway), we found it comfortable. Overall, the deluxe suite would be an excellent choice for small families or groups looking for a self-catering option in Ashland.

This was a wonderful unique place to stay. Everything perfect! So comfortable and clean. The rooms are decorated beautifully, feels like home, and the attention to detail is tremendous. The outside is just as beautiful as the inside, the gardens, landscape, fountains, lights, it's a real treat to come across a lodging of this calibur and at such a great price!. The next time I'm in Ashland I will definitely stay at The Palm, I can't wait!

We just spent two nights here in February at the Palm, having come to Ashland at the last minute for family business. It was lovely....the room is almost like a small apartment. We had two rooms (both with queen beds, TVs, dressers), a kitchenette (well-stocked), and a gorgeous full bath. The grounds were sweet (grassy area with chairs), even in the winter. Very quiet, so sleeping was excellent. Very friendly, pleasant staff.
We wanted to stay another night, but they were fully booked, so reserve early! (We stayed at their sister hotel our last night, Hotel Columbia, which was very comfortable and quiet, but we preferred the Palm). We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Ashland. Highly recommended.

This one is every bit as good as the reviews. Passing through on our way from Santa Cruz to Portland, we spent the night in one of the queen suites. The room was nicely finished, with a high wood-paneled ceiling and skylight. There was a very nice bath and shower, with a nicely chosen selection of toiletries (nothing like the cheap junk in most hotels). The heating system had a setting to have the fan run constantly on the low setting, so we were not awakened periodically through the night by it cycling on and off. The internet wi-fi system was quite easy to use, and provided contact with the front desk. The person sitting at that desk was friendly and welcoming when we checked in, and later when we returned to choose from one of six different pillows that The Palm offers its guests. The Palm has the form of an old multiple-cabin-style motel, but the resemblance ends there. The cabins come in various sizes and layouts for different size parties, and are all nicely finished. The grounds are nicely landscaped and take the form of a garden with a nice lawn with a picnic table and places to sit. There's a small outdoor pool, which doesn't get much use in February, when we visited.

Strongly recommended.
