The McCall House B&B is a treasure!
We found this B&B affordable when we decided to spend a Monday night in Ashland, because this is the one night when there are no Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays. This meant a $100 savings! Nevertheless, there was one Monday theater option, the Oregon Cabaret Theatre.
The location is central to downtown, Lithia Park, the Shakespeare Festival, and many fine restaurants. A walk around the neighborhood is also very enjoyable.
The house and rooms are lovely, with a great deal of attention to detail. There were many antique pieces, and a lovely feeling of comfort. Everything was very clean and fresh. We loved the cookies and teas in the afternoon. Breakfast was at 9:00 for everyone and it was delicious. I loved having robes in the room and the surprise chocolates left beside the bed.
We stayed in the Captain McCall room on the main floor. Not only did it have a shower, but also the most amazing claw foot tub! There was a king-size 4 poster, a much-appreciated desk, and two chairs, one with a matching footstool that was especially comfortable.
