Everything you read here about this wonderful B&B is true. It's a more than delightful place to stay, and Don and Deana are perfect hosts. Don is wonderful entertainment! We definitely will return to this B&B as it one of the best we've had the pleasure of visiting.

Room Tip: If you're couples traveling together, as we were, the Windsor and Canteberry rooms are next to o...

Great breakfast, great hospitality in an upgraded 1930's home. Deanne and Don were great hosts who tended to our needs and proved very informative about Ashland and the OSF plays. Their B&B has more spacious grounds than the typical Ashland B&B. Not only do they have an in-ground pool and SPA, they also have a nice patio and landscaped back yard to enjoy on a sunny day.

We were traveling with another couple, and occupied to two upstairs bedrooms which had been upgraded and modernized. These were smaller than the suites, but were nicely decorated and had comfortable beds.

The Romeo Inn is located about .8 miles from the OSF theaters in a very quiet neighborhood well away from the Main Street traffic. We walked to dinner an theater twice with no problems. The third time we drove because it was raining.

All in all, I would highly recommend the Romeo Inn.

When you dream of a place that provides an oasis of comfort, cleanliness, quiet, and beauty, my dream came true when my husband and I found the Romeo Inn. Nestled in the hills, but still walkable to town and OSF, innkeepers, Don and Deana, have carried on the tradition of a B and B: immaculate rooms with comfy beds and thick bath towels; varied breakfasts with the freshest ingredients; freshly baked cookies as a treat every afternoon, and gardens along every aspect of the residence, showing off the local foliage, complimenting the Ponderosa Pine trees that outline the property. Imagine waking up to the sound of bluejays outside and the smell of fresh baked muffins inside. Simply wonderful!
My husband and I have stayed at the Romeo for 21 years and have already reserved our 2014 stay.
We do visit Ashland for Shakespeare and wine tasting, but , really, we look forward to seeing Don and Deana, the Inn, and to recharge and renew ourselves.
You must stay here and experience this magic!

My wife and I had our first visit to Ashland and also to the Romeo Inn. We selected the Romeo based on comments on Trip Advisor which we use quite often in our travels. We were just delighted with the Romeo and the hosts Deanne and Don. Our Suite was away from the main home and upstairs but large, very clean and comfortable. The Romeo is a few blocks from the center of town but only a few and if the weather is nice (it rained for us which is unusual in September) so we drove the few blocks. We had breakfast all three days and found the morning fare excellent and prepared when we arrived. Don and Deanne were very helpful regarding restaurants, sites, theater productions etc and we found ourselves wanting to stay longer. We are an older couple (sixties) and travel quite a bit and would stay at the Romeo Inn again

This is the third year in a row that we have stayed at the Romeo Inn to attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The Romeo Inn is one of the best Bed and Breakfast establishments we have experienced. Don and Deanna have created a very warm, friendly, and welcoming environment. The breakfasts are wonderful, with a different fruit smoothie, muffin, fruit bowl, and entree each morning. Each breakfast during our stay was even served on a different china pattern, some of which are family heirlooms. The room is very comfortable and clean, as are the common areas, and we really enjoy ourselves every time. For those who are seeing plays while in Ashland, Romeo Inn is within walking distance of all the theaters and several good restaurants. We always make our reservations for next summer before we leave the building.

The Romeo Inn is the most comfortable, welcoming bed and breakfast that I have ever experienced! From the first time that we stayed there, eight years ago, we've never changed our accomodation choice on our yearly trips to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. All the details are perfect and the standards for cleaniness, comfort, class and charm are set very high. Fresh flowers, lovely linens, even umbrellas and blankets are available for the outdoor performances in the Elizabethan. The breakfasts are delicious, served on fine China and different every morning. No wonder that we always book our next year's stay a year in advance!

We’ve been staying at the Romeo Inn in Ashland, Oregon since 1987. We go at least once, sometimes two or three times, a year. We would never stay at any other place in Ashland, and we wish there were a Romeo Inn in every town we visit. The current innkeepers, Don and Deana Politis, are warm, friendly, gracious people, and as we’ve traveled widely over the years we’ve come to appreciate them – and the Romeo inn – more and more. They make us feel like guests in their home, not overnight customers. The inn is charming, with every modern convenience, and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are delicious, different every morning, and generously proportioned. The accommodations are very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The grounds are lovely, with a peaceful backyard patio-pool-garden area for relaxing. We’ve never stayed at a better inn – anywhere in the world. Our rating would be six stars out of five!
