I had stayed here once before and it was fine. This time, however, was a different story. I experienced very poor service- the staff would agree to doing something and then never followed through despite being asked several times. The rooms were not well kept- two of the lights did not work, sink did not drain, and the toilet and heater did not work in my friends room. And the room was super noisy. I found the street sounds to be fine, but I could hear all the noises from the rooms next to mine making it very difficult to sleep.

It's a shame they didn't like our service!! many reviews say that our staff is very nice and goes out of their way to help our guests!! I do take offense as to how they made it sound here!! As far as the lights she probably should have plugged them in as they will work better. I found that the housekeeper unpluged them to vaccum and forgot to plug them back in. As far as the heater working, well it was working fine the next morning, my maint. man checked it. Toliet flushed just like it should have!! if it didn't work or the heater didn't work I would have sure changed your room for you, as I wouldn't have wanted her to go 10 hours with out using the bathroom. Also our rooms are CLEAN and well kept!!! Thanks for a great review!!!

Ok, lets get it straight, the place is a bit outdated.

Otherwise, the room was clean, comfy and spacious. Despite being right on the side of the road the room was very quiet. The location is perfect, just off the highway, on the main road, 5 minutes drive to the city center and they offer a shuttle to go and come back from the festival.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful regarding were to go and what to do in Ashland. We stayed only 1 night and we didn't use the swimming pool and steam room so I won't comment on that. Internet was good.

I would recommend this place and would definitely go back if I return to Ashland, I wouldn't even bother shopping around for another motel

We rented a suite with a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. the place is not fancy, but is clean, quiet (if you are on the pool side instead of the street side) and a very good price for Ashland. the pool was nice, breakfast was ok, loved having a kitchen so we could cook some meals instead of eating out all the time.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the street.

We had a group rate of $59 which made just about any room OK. Our king room was located just outside the indoor pool (which was out of order), Hence the room was damp and smelled quite mouldy. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There were even double sinks.
The bedspread and pillow covers really need replacing. The bed was comfortable. We were scolded by the man in the breakfast room for approaching the room from the wrong direction. Not a very exciting breakfast.

Well the Indoor Pool was closed for Cleaning and painting Many people have stayed in that room and have never complained As far as the manager scolding you that's not true. I explained that was a private area and had signs to tell you that. But you disregarded the signs. We Just took this hotel over in March, so please remember "Rome wasn't built in a day:" We are trying!!! You can always go down closer to town and pay a lot more!!! Thanks for the vote of Confidence!!!

This is a decent motel at a price somewhat less than the big chains. Comfortable, quiet, clean
rooms. Nice outdoor pool for a sunny day. Rather meagre "continental breakfast". Other
places in this part of the country seem to be providing a bit more. Just a couple of miles
drive down the main street to the town centre and the theatres. Recemmended if you are not
insisting on something more fancy.
