We can't wait to return!

Talk about the perfect stay -- wonderful hosts, fabulous food, comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings!

And the little things, like the drawer with all sorts of helpful items (bandaids, Q-tips, cotton balls, sewing kit, etc.) -- Kitty's willingness to set up our coffee for as early in the AM as we would wish, the great recommendations for where to eat and what to see.

Above all, Kitty and Dave started to feel like family, and it was SO hard to leave! Can't say enough about how we loved the Hartzell House!

Room Tip: We loved the Patriot's Suite!

BEST TIME EVER

Kitty and Dave are the best hosts and have the most wonderful B&B. The food is beyond excellent. Every need is taken care of and everything is clean and beautiful. This is our second stay and we feel that Kitty and Dave are now like family. We recommend the Hartzell House to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

Great Breakfast, Gracious Hosts, Lovely Area

We had a weekend event at the Bear Run Nature Conservancy and Falling Water so we decided to go back to Hartzell House for the second time. The inn is located in Addison, PA which is a quaint and very quiet little town just off the historic Route 40, Old National Pike. We stayed in the newer section of the house which has a great room with big screen TV and a dining room with pool table. David and Kitty are extremely gracious hosts and we enjoyed their company as they prepared breakfast from behind the breakfast bar. Breakfast included great service, great coffee, gourmet pancakes with unique ginger syrup the first day and an fabulous egg dish the second day. We had a very comfortable stay and I would definitely recommend this B&B if you are visiting the Laurel Highlands.

Delightful in every way

We stayed two nights while visiting Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, and were very happy to have selected Hartzell House. David and Kitty are perfect hosts. They could not have been more accommodating. Breakfasts were delicious, creative, and beautifully presented. Our room - and the entire inn - was spotless, charming, comfortable, and interesting. From what we could see, Hartzell House is the best place to stay in the area.

We had a wonderful experience at Hartzell House.

Kitty and David were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to meet our travel needs. The accommodations were lovely. They were making some improvements in the gardens while we were there. I would love to see the finished product. We stayed in the Artists Room; the bathroom for that room is in the hall outside the room (it is private, however), but it only had a hand shower. If you want a regular shower, you may want to select another room. Hartzell House is 1/2 hour from Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. We had a very nice experience and would definitely return and recommend to others.
