We visited America on Wheels several times and now have become Members with unlimited visits for an annual fee. The museum is spotless and all the staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They hold some special events from time to time which would be a very good time to visit. There is a cafe, but we did not indulge.

We went with our grandson (22 months) who loves cars and wheels. This was a delightful trip down memory lane. The site is clean and well maintained. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The old cars were some I remember seeing on the roads years ago! It was just .. fun to see this part of American history our grandson and delightful to watch our grandson having so much fun seeing cars everywhere. And some I haven't seen for years.

This is a great Museum dedicated to transportation. They have some interesting static displays including early Electric Cars, and a short history of Mack Trucks. Other displays rotate in and out, so,you can visit repeatedly and be sure to see now displays.
They have a completely restored 1950's Cafe called the Hubcap cafe with food service of the period.

This museum is in a somewhat unlikely location near the soon-to-be developed Lehigh River waterfront in a formerly industrial area of Allentown. The surprise for automotive enthusiasts is not just the variety and the quality of the vehicles on display, but the also the design of the exhibits spaces as well. In addition to the permanent collection, there are changing themed exhibits every few months, ranging from race cars, brass era, classics, pedal cars, motorcycles, etc, etc. The staff is very helpful and the price very reasonable. If you're a car (or truck) person, don't pass up the opportunity to visit America on Wheels!

This is a fantastic car museum located in Allentown, PA. Very nicely laid out, inexpensive to visit, has many different styles and types of cars and some trucks, you don't want to miss this.
