This is the former Mezza Luna that's gone through a few incarnations before setting on Chicago. No smoking anymore (yay!) and really nice looking refurbishment of the building. It's much classier with a large, open bar. We've been 3-4 times so far. Great beer list and martini options, we have done burgers or sandwiches or full dinners and not been disappointed (the flatbreads are amazing). The servers are really super, always friendly and attentive without being in your face all the time.
A minor complaint is that some of the air vents blow right on your head depending on your table and we've had to move more than once to not be frozen solid. Also I'm not sure they need the TV in the dining room when there's got to be 9 of them in the bar area. They do live music later at night so if that's not your thing, something to consider. (We're usually out before 10pm so can't comment on the bands but it seems very popular.) It's not the prettiest strip mall ever but there's plenty of parking in the lot and it's nice to have another restaurant option in this area that isn't a chain (or a dive!)
