We were seated in the upper floor area, and it was not busy. The food was decent, the beer flight was very good, but expensive for just getting 4 different options, as compared to another local restaurant where there was an option for 8, at a price very close to Champs.
The waitress was ok. Not overly friendly - and did not check in as often as I thought she should since it really was not busy.

The servers really hustled! We sat right down, our wings came, and the food was really outstanding. We got steak salads, HUGE salads, really, really fresh.I love the wings (meek!) hot and sweet. Our waitress, Danielle, was lovely and FAST on her feet.

Came here on President's Day for lunch, party of two. We were the first people here at 12pm. We got seated right away and waited on. I ordered the salmon sandwich with crock pot mac and cheese. Everything was very good. It was a huge sandwich and was hard for me to eat all of it. The mac and cheese is really good as well! Very cheesy and lots of flavor!

The building was large, two stories. Lots of room and seating. Great atmosphere for a sport's bar.

One thing I would recommend is that the dinners they have aren't available until 4 or 4:30, and we had really wanted to try them. So look online at the menu before you go to make sure you would prefer the lunch or dinner menu.

Atmosphere I expect in a large city venue. Comfortable whether seated at the bar, table or booth. Extensive domestic & imported beer offerings ; a varied menu- bar food/ dinner /steam table. The Jambalaya and other steam table dishes (huge bowels) you will not likely find on any area menu. The youthful, energetic staff is attentive but not intrusive. We enjoyed our visit and will return frequently. A must try in my book!

Ate here Saturday nite. It was very busy-i get it- we enjoyed drinks standing up (it was fun and rowdy)-we waited nearly an hour for a table. That wasn't the issue. There were many other issues! After being seated:
1. waited so long for silverware that we went up to bar to ask for our own, no wait staff, of any kind was to be found for 1/2 hr
2. served us our apps and meal at same time, told waitress to hold on the dinners, she so kindly had a busboy MOVE them into a corner near our table on the tray! then after finishing our apps we served them to ourselves--on top of the app plates which were never cleared (never ever cleared the entire night!)
3. no offer of more drinks
4. food was GOOD-albeit COLD! steak perfect med rare, salads large( had to beg for 1 that was forgotten though, then it had wrong dressing)
5. we couldn't BUY service from a waitress, repeatedly apologizing-- but not reappearing.

This is the worst dining experience I have ever had-casual or fancy. We bring our son back and forth to Penn State several times a year and this was always a great spot for drinks, food, fun. We even stayed at the nearest hotel so we could walk across the parking lot to enjoy Champs. So disappointing. Recommended to many friends-but I take it back!
