“Don't come for a meal, come for ingredients”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 December 2013

The Head Nut serves prepared coffee and a few items, but that's not the reason to go. They sell spices by the ounce/pound; dried fruit, chocolate and other candy by weight; oddball packaged goods; and many different coffees by the bean and teas by the leaf. It's a small store packed full of items. The variety is outstanding. Need a pound of rosemary? This is the place to go. Pick up the big jar of rosemary, take it to the counter, and say how much you need. They will weigh, bag, and label it for you. And give you a discount for the big quantity.

We don't live in the area, but we make an annual trek here when in Philly, and we leave with $50 to $100 worth of stuff. Prices, especially for spices, are most reasonable.
