While there isn't a lot of color in the gardens, the paths are neatly maintained and shaded for the most part. The 'show' barn has some interesting bits of history, both about the horses and their owners. We were not able to explore the Doll House the day we visited.

Thank Karen E

Our daughter decided to use this location for her wedding last week and it was the perfect setting. Great story behind this location as well. Excellent place for a nice nature walk to unwind and relax for a bit.

Hopeland Gardens is a beautiful place to walk around. It’s convenient to downtown Aiken. It was nice for us to stroll around and enjoy the scenery. You can take as much time or as little as you want.

Hopeland Gardens is a very beautiful place to visit. In the summers and through out the year, they have many events that go on there such as live music, dancers, read alouds for younger children, Christmas lights, etc. There are huge, beautiful trees and manicured walkways. There are many benches scattered through out the park. There are also a few ponds and wildlife such as ducks, turtles, and HUGE fish that you can watch from the bridge.

Very disappointed in the gardens. Needed a lot of cleanup, very surprised. The doll house was closed so didn't get a chance to visit.
