We finally found a room here after checking at numerous places. The price was $139.00 and we ended up paying $163.00 by the time all taxes and fees are added. We are seniors and my husband is also a veteran of the Vietnam War but the desk clerk still said they offer no discounts. She explained that since everyone is booked up and rooms we're scarce that they charge the highest price and give no discounts. Call me stupid but that sounds like price gouging to me. I know everyone does it but it still stinks. We were given a room all the way around the other side of the building. A large mattress was leaned up against the wall, and there was a concrete barrier blocking the exit, leaving only one way in or out. To exit you had to drive back around the building. The room was okay but I have seen better rooms for the price. We were put in a room with an adjoining door to the room next to us and I was not a fan of the type of door jams they used. Oh, the breakfast was served in a separate building. I guess if it's raining, you just get soaked. Non smoking rooms mean nothing. It still smelled of smoke.
