“Can't beat the view or the wine”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

I was In Nashville for my final day with family and we thought we would give a look and see what Kix Brooks had kixing..

My mother loves wine and my endeavors over to Italy have put my heart at a love for wine so this was a perfect match for us.

The view driving up to the vineyards was amazing and the grounds are really a cool place. We unfortunately didn't bring a picnic lunch to have but I saw a family out there with a bagset/cornhole with their whole family eating lunch and enjoying some wine.

We arrived about mid day on a Saturday and the place wasn't busy at all except for inside they were at the bar area. The shop inside is worth the glance around, my mom even bought a dip and crackers for us to enjoy with the wine, which was very good. Besides having our wines which were very good, we couldn't do the tour because they were bottling over 15,000 wines that day (WOW). For the wines, I did the 4 for $10. The waiter poured a little extra for us which was nice of him and we enjoyed them underneath the tent so we could enjoy the view.

I would want to come back for a tour and to show friends, even to enjoy a day with family and picnic.

“Not Napa Valley, but still very nice”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

Great place to visit on a nice weekend. I stopped for a tasting and to purchase a case of 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon. Not a whole lot different than being in Napa Valley.

“Great Place to Visit and Relax”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

Just outside Franklin TN - easy to find. A real gem. Perfect for wine tasting - picnic lunch and just relaxing to sounds of live music. Went July 5- arrived around noon. Staff was everywhere - helpful - and cheerful (even on long 3 day weekend) I did 4 wine tasting ($5) - daughter did 8 wines ($10). Hostess explained wine and kept us working on our list of wine. Tasting bar only 8-10 stations - so arrive early or expect short wait. Also small gift shop gets crowded - but ample space on covered patio - tent - and picnic areas. Well maintaned - some walking - stairs - but golf carts availabe for longer trips.
Fun afternoon - close to Franklin and really laid back activity. Free to eneter and park and picnic. Only cost was wine tasting (optional) and gift shop purchases. No one pressured us to by wines or gift items.
Food available on site thru Simple Life (or Simple Living) - but deserves a seperate review. Many brought their own picnic baskets and drins (no outside wines or beers)

“Awesome wine and view”
Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

Kix Brooks has a great set up and is making some great wines. This vineyard gets really crowded on the weekends - you can bring food in and enjoy a bottle of wine on the grounds and hundreds do so. You must bring in your own glasses or buy a souvenir glass. I was there when they were actually harvesting the grapes and the staff had no problem with us walking through the vines observing them while they worked.

“views are not enough”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

While amazing views and lots of golf carts are wonderful to enjoy this expansive vineyard, they are not enough. Maybe it was because we arrived on a lovely Saturday, maybe because we were a group of 7, maybe we just expect too much. But making us wait an hour was too much for us. We were told 45 minutes and found seats on the porch to enjoy the views while we waited. After an hour we found something better to do, leave and have a happy hour on our own porch.
