Owner description: This offbeat roadside attraction features 10 graffiti-covered Cadillacs standing upright in a row, buried nose-first in the ground. The sculpture is the brainchild of Amarillo millionaire Stanley Marsh III, who chose classics dating from 1948 to 1963, the "Golden Age" of the American automobile.

“A sad example for stupidity of people”
Reviewed 11 July 2014

The Cadillac Ranch is an interesting artistic experiment showing ten Cadillacds buried half way into the ground. So far so good. Unfortunately people think that it is a good idea to go there and spray graffitiy to the monument. And not only some - ALL of them! I was actually the only visitor without graffity sprays: children, parents, old people, it seems like a peoples sport to spray the artwork. And not only this: after spraying they just drop their empty spray cans and leave them on the ground, making the monument a big waste field. Embarassing and disgusting. Unbelievable how stupid people can be... Anyway, if you can manage to find a spot without spraying idiots there's still the chance for some pretty good photo shots, especially at sunset.

“Fun stop for free!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

My fiancé and I headed through Amarillo on our way to Breckenridge and decide to stop here. It's right out of town and the best part is that it is free! We brought our own spray paint, $3.97 compliments of the local Walmart and parked on the side of the road. Saw tons of caterpillars and used fireworks on the muddy path that led to the row of Cadillacs. Fun for the whole family! Bring your own paint!

“Cool”

We are glad we stopped to see these cars on the side of I-40. It was a cool little side trip that made us smile.

“Great Time But Slobs”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

Painted up a bunch of cars. Be sure to bring spray paint with you. Idiots apparently had a big 4th of July party out there and trashed the entire field with fireworks, trash, bottles, spray cans littered everywhere....disgraceful. A cool attraction and worth the stop if in town.

“A little muddy!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

It's amazing how busy this place is....the cars have so much spray paint on them, it's just caked up. Still a fun experience, especially for the kids. Most of the cadillacs were surrounded by mud when we were there, so the guys with boots got the best spots.
