I assume that Amarillo is less of a destination and more of traveling stopover. Because there is really nowhere else for travelers to stop in for the night, the rates are high in this town. You can feel comfortable that the Fairfield is about as good a deal as you're going to get for a clean place to sleep and a good breakfast. Our room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Bed was comfortable with good pillows and soft linens. We were really impressed with the amount of space in the lobby that was dedicated to the breakfast area. Regular fare for breakfast along with scrambled eggs and hot biscuits and gravy. I'd give this place a 5 if not for the price!

Great stay for $125. Got in late and left early and felt it was still worth it! Self serve breakfast with quality foods and fresh made waffles and biscuits and gravy, enough said!. Comfy bed and quiet room. Super nice staff and convenient location to highway or airport. Will be our stop on our co-ok trips from now on! Not a lot to choose from in Amarillo and this is by far the best!

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at! I completely adored the friendly, attentive staff and the specially designed feel of this unique hotel. The local owner perfectly nailed the hip look and details - it is not the usual stuffy, predictable hotel decor. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff is willing to help out if you need anything. Please give this hotel a chance and you will not be disappointed.

Stayed here one night 10/04/13 . Clean room and common areas, friendly staff, good breakfast. Easy on and off from highway and well lighted. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Good value. Arrived late night and there was no problem with reservation.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable, quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. Good breakfast spread. Just negotiate a better price than what's posted. Easy access and next to a Wings restaurant if you want to walk to lunch or dinner.

We stumbled into finding this gem by accident. How lucky we were. A coupon in a roadside Hotel Coupon Guide gave us a bargain rate. Everything about this hotel is first class. Clean, quiet and well located on the East side of town make it easy to find and access the Interstate. All furniture, bedding and construction are first class. Even at full price, this hotel is worth your stay. By the way, the two staff members, Bethany and Monica were extremely helpful and pleasant.

Stayed here for a wedding just outside of Amarillo - great choice. Super clean, everyone is so very friendly, and the breakfast was yummy and filling. The hotel is right on the interstate on your way to AMA airport. VERY convenient for a late night / early morning flight. Would stay here again!
