Very beautiful area, nice to walk through. They were having a wedding and reception there that night so you know it must be good! Well worth the few dollars.

“Gorgeous”

I love spending time at the Garden. Every time my father comes down, we always visit there, it's so serene and gorgeous. You can't help but want to take pictures and want to spend hours there.

If you love flowers, go here. I enjoyed it greatly. The people there were very friendly, and you can go and wander about, take photos, etc.. It's not terribly large, so it's a quick visit. I,got some lovely pix there, and ideas for my own garden.

“Great potential - needs more local support”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2013

We had to look a while to find this little gem in the desert but it was worth it. They seemed a little surprised to have visitors waiting when they opened but were all very open and excited to talk about all that we saw. Everything was exceptionally lush and in full bloom including the small garden plot with tomatoes and herbs and several types of veggies. They were apparently very understaffed and we saw several signs advertising areas open for sponsorships but they are doing a spectacular job with the resources that they have. The gardens back up to a long park and waterway that adds extra depth to the calm feel of the place. Many secluded seating areas are available and each has a different view. The rainforest area has grown so lush that many plants are touching the glass roof and we saw a papaya tree that had grown so heavy with fruit that it had actually broken in half. We spent almost two hours here and probably would have stayed longer if the gift shop had been open but they had to close it due to lack of funds. We wish them only the best of luck and hope the future will be bright for them.

“Sad place”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 June 2013

I felt sorry for the Botanical Garden. They had just had a hail storm that had damaged most of the out door plants. And the indoor plants seemed to be dry and dusty. It was a peaceful place, however they need to do some thing to help make the indoor plants healthy and happy.
