We checked in very late at night due to flight delays. As we approached the hotel lobby we were cautious and concerned as to how the property might be. The grounds outside and in the central common areas needed a good leaf blower and the glass backed elevators needed a good cleaning and need to be freshly scented. Inside our unit we found accommodations larger than some one bedroom apartments we have stayed in. The shower and toilet area are separated from the vanity area so it is very easy for two people to get ready in the morning. The kitchens are full kitchens and there were two large screen Samsung televisions, one in the fireplace living room and the other in the bedroom. Our last day of stay, they were installing all new pillow-top mattresses. There is a complimentary continental breakfast served each morning. The hotel is a complimentary trolley shuttle that brings you to Six Flags Theme Park, Rangers Stadium as well as another four to six attractions in the area. The following changes would greatly improve the stay, full length mirror behind one of the doors, better lighting in the vanity area of the bathroom, lighter wall color around the vanity area of the bathroom to reflect true color on those making-up, towel rod in bath area to dry bath towels, more than six hangers in the very large walk-in closet, chairs on the outside balcony area, change up the breakfast items a little. No trays to bring breakfast to your room. I used a shipping box bottom and was told not to use it on Monday when the manager was back. Really? I cannot bring breakfast to the room for my wife to save time getting ready in the morning? Know your guests and why they are there, we are not cookie cutter here.
