“Intersting-unexpected”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

We went and visited this after viewing it's existence on Trip Advisor. My husband had grown up in Arlington and we have both lived in Texas all our lives and did not know about this place and it's unique history. It was a beautiful day and a gorgeous campus. The history was interesting in it's irony and nostalgic look back at a glamorous infamous time in history.

“How Vegas got it's roots”
Reviewed 29 March 2014

You would be amazed about tbe rich history that one day will be lost with the generation from the past. Who's who of the late 1920's and early 1930's spent time on the grounds of what is known as Arlington Baptist College. From Frank Sanantra to Bonnie and Clyde. This is a must see if you are in town.

“Vegas before Vegas”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

Vickie gave an informative commentary prior to viewing the underground tunnels and doors.
Many famous and infamous people had gambled here. In its day it would have rivalled any local casino of today with security etc. And now is it a Baptist Bible College, how things change!
Strangely not many Texans know about this place, hopefully that will change. $5 charge for the tour, but badly in need of funding and/or sponsorship, to make this a major tourist attraction. Highly recommended

“Arlington's MOST UNIQUE attraction!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

Top O'Hill Terrace is Arlington's most unique attraction, but no one seems to know about it.... In living in Arlington 25 years, I'd passed by the twin stone gates countless times. But following a recent article in our local paper, I finally took the tour. I wish I'd done it sooner! I'll take all my out of town guests there! The past history of Top O'Hill Terrace is even more interesting because Arlington Baptist College now occupies the grounds. The tour begins with a slide show and quickly takes you to the grounds, getaway tunnels, and hidden rooms . As the wife of a preacher and former president of Arlington Baptist College, your tour guide is quick to tell you she'd never held a poker chip in her life until she started researching the history of this former den of iniquity! Worth WAY more than the suggested donation of $5.00!!!!

“Who knew?”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

The most interesting aspect of Top o' Hill is the irony that what once was a den of debauchery is now a Baptist bible college. Hidden rooms, secret tunnels, Ranger raids, etc. dot this place's colorful past. It's amazing to see the list of celebrities that spent time gambling here!
