We stayed there for the Thanksgiving holidays and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was very secure. I will definitely stay here again. We did not go to the pool but the gym was nice. They have 2 treadmills and some weights.

Hotel was very clean, rooms very nice. Staff very helpful. Jacuzzi was not working, although not a big problem as I only stayed one night. Outside pool, although weather was about 34 degrees so this was not a feature I would use. Excellent stay, will do again.

Originally we tried for downtown la Quinta Inn....so glad we didn't do that! This lovely hotel was very accessible to downtown Austin and easy to find. Had a great area for the puppy and the staff was energetic and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast at the inns still needs some work but the overall cleanliness and comfort make up for it....

I actually have recently stayed twice at this hotel, once in October and once in November. This review will be a combination of both of those stays.

The hotel is convenient to The Domain, with its shopping and restaurants. However, if you miss the turn into the hotel from the access road, you have quite a ways to go to make the approach again, especially with all the construction in that area. The parking lot can get quite crowded in the front, so definitely look for a spot around back.
Check was somewhat personable and the lobby breakfast area looks to be a good size. The first time we stayed at this hotel, we were given a ground floor room next to the industrial washers and dryers. It did get rather noisy and we were less than thrilled when we discovered that not only did the AC not cool the room, but there was no hot water due to a gas main break. However, to the credit of management, when we mentioned our concerns at the front desk the next morning, we were told the manager would be contacting us. I was very surprised to receive a certificate for a free night's stay in the mail about a week later.
The second go-around, we were given a king room on the second floor. We still had hot water, but the AC still did not cool the room very well. Since the hubby and I need it cool to sleep, we both had a restless night and woke up with blocked sinuses. While the bed itself was comfortable, we did not get a good night's sleep.
Aside from the issues with the AC, the room itself was decent. We had a small fridge and microwave as well as a recliner that my husband really enjoyed. The desk area was large enough to set up a laptop and the wifi was fine. The bathroom had ample storage, the shower clean. My only other issues beside the AC was that the towels were really scratchy and there was a large mystery stain on the carpet by the front door.
Because this hotel usually charges roughly around $100 a night, I would be hesitant to stay here again because of the bad night's sleep I had on both occasions here.

Room Tip: If traveling in the winter, ask for a room facing the pool. It will be quieter than facing the parking lot.

Rooms were of quite a good size and comfortable and clean. Stayed for 2 nights for business in the local area and hence the choice. For those without a car its slightly inconvenient for getting to see the sights of Austin or even getting to local dining & shops. That said within a few minutes taxi ride is enough to keep you occupied, especially if the main purpose of your stay is transiting or business. For the cost, good value, breakfast was a little dissapointing but I have had worse and it was well presented and edible. Biggest part was the hospitality, all the staff were great and I felt valued as a customer. All in all, if the location fits, you won't be dissapointed with the hotel and get exactly what you would expect for a good quality but affordable Inn.
