Great location to downtown and historic 6th St. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean, and I loved the decor. The pool area is awesome! For the price however, I would think WiFi would not just be available in the lobby but also in room without an extra charge. There was also no in room mini-fridge for personal use.

This was my first trip to Austin and we wanted to be close to the the downtown area. This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and nice. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. This is a great location if you want to be close to the craziness of 6th street. At first I was disappointed at the cost of the valet service ($30 per night plus tax) but there really isn't much parking in the area so this isn't that bad at all. Each time I needed the car it was brought out quickly. I will stay here the next time I am in Austin.

Great downtown location with excellent service. The rooms were comfortable but small which is understandable with a downtown location. Service is the best part of the hotel! Every staff member from the bartender, the valet, to the front desk personnel were friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met. The parking is a bit pricey for Austin ($30 a night) but we will definitely stay here again.

Best arrival process, ever. Valet was very smooth and were greeted by Steven who made us feel most welcome. He gave us our keys, answered our questions, gave me a handshake and off we went.

Valet parking fee was well worth it! It is very reasonable and our car felt very safe. We walked everywhere and did not even have to worry about our vehicle.

The cooked to order omelets in the morning were awesome and the breakfast area is on the 18th floor and overlooks downtown, its great. Very clean rooms, very friendly staff.

This was a very nice hotel. Only key access to floors which made it seem pretty safe along with a guard down in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small. They have toilet and shower in one section which makes that area really tiny. Must have some decent walls because I never heard any kids partying at 3am like at most hotels. We were on the 10th floor which when you get off the elevator is a big general sitting area which was really nice if you are part of a big group. Valet parking is $30.00 a night which seemed kinda high but we looked for cheaper parking and could only find about 5 dollars cheaper a block away so we just paid it. Word of advice.. if you are only in downtown for a weekend and want to go find breakfast.. WALK.. because we drove around for a good 40 minutes finding different restaurants on our GPS only to go there and there is no parking withing a two block radius. We finally we to a restaurant called Bacon.. it was pretty good. Downtown is a party block over on 5th street. we walked thru on Friday night and immediately felt like old. if you're not in your early 20's you probably wont be very interested. It was much better when we went over Saturday afternoon and had some cocktails at a few different bars.. We tried the "The Market" and "Gingerman" sitting up on the rooftops which was fun although very Humid.. lucky it was a cloudy day or it may have been miserable.. then went wandering thru some of the souvenir shops. Austin was a fun for a weekend. Although there is a lot of beggars downtown.
We went to a Mexican restaurant on Saturday night.. Hula Hut.. it was a huge place with really good food. There was over a hour wait which for us was ok, we went to the bar and filled up on chips and drinks so by the time it was time to eat no body was hungry. But its waterfront so its just nice to sit there and enjoy the evening.
