“Hectic, downtown mess”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

Grandson and I couldn't find our way out of there quick enough. What a mess with bars and neon and hookers and worn out buildings and grounds.

“Texas Memorial Museum”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

We needed a place to go with AC as the weather was 100 and we had three kids. The entrance fees are quite reasonable and since we were paying for a large family that was good. But one has to park underground and that is about $6-9 depending on how long one stays. The museum was good but probably not as good for the 6 and 8 yr old but still an enjoyable outing.

“Must See When in Austin”
Reviewed 16 August 2014

Campus is conveniently situated in a nice area within the city. My daughter was instantly attracted to the university. We were glad to have visited the Catholic Center for Sunday mass.

“THE University of Texas at Austin, what else do you need to know?”
Reviewed 3 August 2014

Recently visited the campus. As an alumni, try to drop by and check in on things from time to time. The school continues to grow and change, but still retain its history. Parking in the garages is the only way to go, else, good luck. Some things don't change.

The campus is full of diverse options to review and has top notch facilities. Wear comfortable shoes, as it is a bit of a walk across the 40+ acres and not everything is in the immediate core area. Take the campus shuttles to help make your way (free).

“This is a great school”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

HOWEVER, the campus is a bit disjointed setting inside a big urban center one cannot easily navigate the school dorms etc. It sits at the other end of the scale from OU where the school set out by itself on a very geometric plan that is easy to navigate
