Calm, clean, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well-maintained, carefully appointed unit in the lovely Hyde Park historic neighborhood. We could walk to a grocery store, fantastic bakery, and several other fun spots, in addition to having an easy drive to downtown. The owner, Pete, was always quick to respond. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This bungalow is a perfect casual, relaxing place to rest your head while visiting Austin. Clean and comfortable with a good kitchen and on street parking, the space is bright and homey. This was our first trip to Texas so we were very active exploring attractions and things to do. The location is very convenient to major connecting roads so you can get all over the Austin metro area quickly. But you won't see traffic or hear any road noise once inside the peaceful neighborhood full of friendly neighbors who will say hi. Nice restaurant & bakery around the corner so you can be car free if you like. We will definitely look at this bungalow for availability when we return to Austin in the future.

My sister and I spent a week here. This place is perfect! The neighborhood is wonderful - great for walking, and restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. The location is quiet but a very central location. The place was spotless and had everything we needed, including laundry facilities. It was so much better than a week in a hotel, and cost less than a week in a hotel! Kitchen is well appointed for a vacation stay, linens provided, seating area out back. I would definitely book again on a return trip to Austin! Thanks, Pete!

This was a great place in all respects. Pete has a beautifully appointed apartment atop a garage, a common setup in Austin. Pristine cleanliness throughout, comfortable beds and furniture, and a lovely neighborhood for walking. Couldn't have been better.

This old bungalow was amazing. Very clean and nicely remodeled. A/c work great, it was hot! Great location! We loved the little shops that you are able to walk to. Quiet and friendly neighborhood also a plus. And the owner answered any questions and was very helpful if anything arose. Thanks for the stay. I will recommend this place to anyone I know that wants to experience Austin!
