First, I was pleasantly surprised how quiet the hotel was for being located so close to the airport. We had an early morning flight so it was very convenient to drop off our rental car and check in for our flight. The staff was friendly and the hotel/room were clean. We left before the breakfast buffet was offered so I can not comment on the food. I would stay there again the next time we're in town.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for letting us know you enjoyed your stay. Staying with us makes that early morning flight so much more bearable. We also have a complimentary shuttle that picks up and drops off at the airport 24/7. So, you can return your rental car the night before your flight and get a few minutes extra sleep before your trip! We hope to see you next time.
Sincerely,
Jason

Worst experience EVER. Staff did not know how to order a cab, nor did they try. Told me to take a bus, that didn't even go where I was going. Since there are NO amenities surrounding the hotel I was stuck with room service which, after an hour of waiting for my hamburger, turns out they never even started on the order! And then they were closed when I called to check on the order. No attempt to resolve ANY of the issues I had during my stay.

Outdated hotel, overpriced. Do not order food. breakfast in-room was messed up, cold and late. Dinner gave me food poisoning. Staff was kind and tried to make it right but cold wrong and late breakfast was too little too late and up all night with stomach problems was nothing they could do. Drive into Austin and save yourself the pain. The cost of this hotel was far too high for the outdated rooms.

We booked this hotel because it was convenient to the airport and we had a 6am flight. It's right on the airport property, with a shuttle every 20 minutes. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Generous free parking was available close to the hotel, as was valet parking. Breakfast buffet ($15) was equivalent to what you might find free at other hotels. The room was clean and quiet, though decor was dated (very 80s) and lighting was poor making the room dark. The hotel has switched to CFL light bulbs but not particularly high-wattage ones. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and modern - great shower. We had upgraded to a "fitness suite" with treadmill and stair climber in adjoining room. Great idea! That room, though (no window) was also ill-lit, dark and gloomy. Large mirrors tried to brighten it up - but a big-screen TV would have been a better addition. We'd stay again - again for the location - but probably wouldn't bother with the fitness suite. A bright, cheery fitness room with machines with built-in TVs is right off the lobby.

I stayed at this property Sunday and Monday and paid $119. My flight was cancelled and the cost of the room went up $80 to $199. It is the time honored supply and demand way of pricing.

There were no apologies or explanation from the from desk, except for "Yeah they change the prices all the time".

Rooms are large and clean. Sleep quality is good and the hotel has hard-wired internet, so you do not have to deal with variable WiFi speeds.

The breakfast is poor. The scrambled eggs were crusted over and clearly hours old. The biscuits for gravy were so hard and dried out, they cracked into a mass of crumbs. Bacon and sausages were stale and dried out.

There were no danish or pastry, only a few muffins and the rest was bread or bagels.

Skip it here and go to the Starbucks a close distance up Rt. 71 (Ron White Blvd.).

Well, that is, if you can get out of the parking lot...

The other challenge is the parking. You have to pay $12.00 per night for self-park. The process is not clear or well informed. If you do not have your receipt in hand when leaving the lot, you need to back up from the parking booth and fish out the paperwork from your luggage. This is especially problematic when it is raining. The other choice it to pay a second time for the gate to be raised. This is not a process that is customer focused, nor well thought through or executed and down right a hassle when you are leaving to catch a flight.

went for a conference. airplane noise not bad, friendly staff, has airport van service, interesting history- converted from old military space. Felt a bit dingy but clean. As an airport hotel, pretty isolated from everything else. At least 20 min or more from downtown and 30 min or more to the consumer meccas, and major traffic obstacles that'd make you think twice about challenging it during 3pm to 7pm. Hotel "charges" for parking- totally isolated and no options- where you have to get a ticket... but on exiting, just have to say you are staying there and ticket is ignored.... Suspect it's designed to discourage freeloaders, but it is odd and would have been very annoying if we had to pay. Leave after 6pm or Saturday and exit gate is open. Just FYI. Or let the gatekeeper know you are staying and you get the exit. Probably best for night before departure, but stayed at local Motel 8 which i thought was "better".

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your comments. While we are a bit off the beaten path, we are only 8 miles from down town Austin. Many of our guests enjoy the convenience of the Airport Flyer which picks up just in front of our hotel. It is an inexpensive and easy way to get to downtown Austin from our hotel. Being on airport property we do charge for parking however as a guest, this is included in your folio. We do hope that you would consider staying with us in the future.
Sincerely,
Jason
