Description: Siena is Austin’s premier destination for authentic Tuscan and Italian cuisine, featuring seasonal antipasti, handcrafted sauces, homemade pasta, and a wide selection of organically raised meat, fish, and fowl. With simple, top-quality ingredients, Siena's traditional menu satisfies modern lifestyle choices and uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Our food is complemented by an award-wining wine cellar and served in rustic, elegant surroundings of thick stone walls and tall wood-beamed ceilings. Whether visiting for a light lunch, happy hour, special event, or a romantic evening, experience the welcoming charm of Tuscany close to home.

Not a place to go if you are hungry and on a budget, but great atmosphere and impeccable service. Fortunately I wasn't ravenous when I went in. Food was very good.....but a bit on the dainty portion side.... perfect if you are having multiple courses. On the positive side, I didn't feel stuffed when I left...which is good.

While this restaurant is outside the downtown Austin area, it is easy to find, and the setting is very nice. Located off the highway, this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, and wasn't the least bit pretentious. The food was very good, and although the entree portions aren't gigantic, it's fine because there are so many delicious appetizers and desserts to choose from. An extensive wine menu, prompt service and welcoming environment makes this a top Italian restaurant in Austin.

Everyone knows the food at Sienna is terrific, but my family wasn't in the mood for a big meal. So we tried out Sienna's happy hour. The happy hour wine selections were terrific. So were the lightly fried artichoke hearts and the grilled rustic bread and cheese dip. The fried calamari, fish, and shrimp was sensational. The entree, paparadelle with wild boar we took home for later, was terrific. The soft classical music and comfortable seating made this a great choice. We will definitely return.

Siena is somewhat hard to find, but is worth it. Excellent dinner which this visit included Veal Marsala, potatoes and green beans. They are happy to split a full dinner for two which is great for weight control. The also have excellent happy hours.

Totally recommend for a nice lunch.. The Express Bistecca which is a salad with pieces of steak mixed in was great as well as the Trout Scampi. Service was prompt and food was to us in a short time but prepared very well. For a delicious dessert, go for the Chocolate Budino.
