The place is a lovely oasis near downtown Austin and right off the Town Lake Hike and Bike trail.
Bamboo of many varieties and lovely walk to front doors of communal style dining room. No menu to choose from just the meal but you can go back for seconds on anything you want. I have been eating here for years and even though the chef has changed a few times, it is always good, clean food. A typical meal is a hot soup, salad, then a plate with brown rice, beans, steamed greens with sun cheese, another veggie usually a root or squash, and some kind of pickled veggie. Gomasio and kelp flakes and tamari are the condiments. As much hot or cold tea as you like, desserts are extra cost.
