Sao Paulo is a cozy restaurant near the UT campus. It has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but it's "Gringo-Brazilian," not real Brazilian. The food is good, however, it's not authentic Bahia/ Rio/ or even Paulista style South American cuisine. The Feijoada is good...Moqueca Bahiana has the right name, yet it is close...but no cigar, (even local Brazilaras make better Moqueca than this "Brazilian" location). I asked to chat with a Brazilian since I worked for some time down there...none was on premises...Hmmmmm, maybe with a Mexican kitchen, they wouldn't know the authentic food. I may be picky, as my daughter loves the place, but if you have tried food IN the REAL Sao Paulo...you might be disappointed.
