This hotel needs some love. The heat in the lobby/atrium was much too high which to me indicates neglect by ownership. The other issue was flies, flies everywhere during breakfast and reception. This is not acceptable. The rooms are in need of updating, but where in good shape overall. The hotel was sold out the night we stayed; outdated rooms and decor and inattention to major items equals poor ownership to me.

I stay here frequently due to the proximity of where I need to go. Some of the furnishings are outdated, but it remains a good value. The staff is friendly, helpful and enjoyable. I'll be staying here again!!

We enjoyed out stay at the Embassy Suites. The manager's reception was good. A gentleman busing tables brought my kids an entire cup of cherries after overhearing them arguing over one, which was a nice touch. The kids loved the indoor pool. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The hotel is not brand new, but the rate and amenities make it worth it.

Made a reservation a month ago, had it on my iPad at checkin. With 4 kids I had made a reservation with double beds. They had given my reservation away (put me in a room with single bed) and the drones at the front desk basically told me to suck it up. No roll-away beds, extra blankets, etc. They just did not care. I asked to speak to manager (Mr. Jason Breedlove) and he pulled a room out of his hat immediately and was very kind. Score one for a proper/customer orientated manager....minus one for the drones that work under him (must not be fun having incompetents working under you Jason).
Anyway, despite having an awesome night manager, the property is in kind of a rough part of town. The staff is un-responsive. The rooms are smaller than other embassy suites (the bathrooms are tiny). I stay at embassy suites a lot, and this is definitely the worst one I have stayed in. Recommend finding a different hotel to stay in close by if you have to be in this location. Many other people where having similar problems as I was checking in. Seems like management above Jason regularly overbook the place to maximize profit. You may be disappointed if you make reservations and show up later in the evening....be careful!

Great rooms and value. Only way to travel with family. Multiple rooms, free breakfast, drinks at night, in-door pool, hot tube and great dining. Makes the evening at the hotel feel like another family outing.

I checked in at midnight. At first, they could not find my reservation. Moments later, they found it, but needed my HH profile information. Apparently they had given away the room which I had reserved three weeks earlier. The clerk at the front desk placed me in a smoking room without telling me of the change. The room smelled musty and of stale cigarettes. The bathroom had not been clean since the last male guest had used it. After complaining about the room and not taking their suggestion of changing rooms in the morning, I changed rooms that night. Miraculously they had an open room similar to what I had originally reserved. The alarm clock did not work, and the shower handle was so loose that when you turned it to the 11 o’clock position, the weight of the handle pulled it all the way to the 9 o’clock position and almost scalded me. That morning, I complained to the Front Desk Manager. They replaced the alarm clock, and I took cool showers for the remaining two days. When I was leaving, the Front Desk Manger asked if things were fixed adequately (two days later while I had suitcase in hand). He offered his apologies, and 2,000 HH points (which he did not deliver).
The pros: The breakfast was good, fast and friendly. The “Manager’s Reception” was nice, and the Bartender was great (Chris, I believe)! Parking was free.
The price was right, but you get what you pay for. I think the hotel is showing its age and has not been properly maintained, therefore Management is overwhelmed with complaints and cannot make their guests happy. Look elsewhere!

Very nice hotel, breakfast is good, rooms are spacious, staff - fantastic. Checked in on a busy weekend - July 4 and the experience was fast and good. My children had fun at the pool which was indoors.
