My partner and I spent two very happy nights at this beautiful and comfortable B&B. The view of and access to Lake Champlain is incomparable, and the house itself is cozy, bright, and welcoming. Our hosts took great care of us, with delicious breakfasts, good conversation, and helpful tips on local hikes and eats. The decor is charming without devolving into the cutesy Victoriana-from-hell look too many other B&B's deem "classy."

We'll always remember seeing the moon shimmer on Lake Champlain as we enjoyed nightfall on the private balcony outside our room, and watching an osprey catch fish on the water. Like another reviewer, we're already plotting a return—because this place is a winner.

We stayed here in August for an end of summer getaway. It was a wonderful place to just "be". Our room overlooked Lake Champlain and the view was incredible! The owners Sue and Bob were great hosts. Each morning we awoke to a superb home cooked breakfast. Bob and Sue were very nice and gave suggestions as where to dine or go to see places on the island. The sunsets were beautiful. The rooms were charming and immaculate. We can't wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed at Thomas Mott for a week in August. We had a fabulous vacation and were very pleased with our accomodations. The Bed and Breakfast was right on the water and our room had a gorgeous view of Lake Champlain. Our hosts Bob and Sue were super friendly and very helpful in our planning. My husband and I spent 4 days fishing, one day golfing, visited Burlington and South Hero, and made a day trip to Montreal which was only an hour away. The location of Thomas Mott was ideal for all of our activities and very peaceful. We were able to plug in our boat and Sue even made us a doggy bag breakfast for us to take on our boat at 5:00 am so we could be fishing at sunrise!!! Sue is an excellent cook and all of the home-made treats were delicious! Again, the views and ambiance were spectacular and we highly recommend staying at the Thomas Mott Homestead Bed and Breakfast!
Sincerely,
Arianna and Jason McFeaters
