This easy-to-find bridge is situated for easy access and good photographic opportunity. It is among about a half dozen in the area.

“This is from before my childhood”

I used to count the cars going across this bridge from my bedroom window at night. The bridge is the oldest around the area and is of unique construction developed a century ago.

“What's all the fuss?”

It is the longest covered bridge in the US, what else is there to say? We drove over the bridge to a road that led us to a park and an artist's home with exhibits - that was much more interesting than the covered bridge.

“Longest covered bridge anywhere!!”

travel thru the bridge on a daily basis - very interesting architecture and you can walk, bike or drive thru
great sights on the other scene

“A great authentic covered bridge”

This is one of the few bridges in New England that has two way traffic. Park on the New Hampshire side and take a leisurely look at how well made this old bridge is
