“Beautiful and rare.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 August 2012 via mobile

There are house museums in other places, but only ONE in Abingdon! This house is a treasure and I certainly hope it stays there forever. I first discovered it at age 16 and fell in love. Donnamarie is a great person to talk with and she has much knowledge about local things; she is a treasure to the town as well. Go to Feilds-Penn!!!

“Lovely home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2012

Liked the fact that the guide informed us a lot about the house and the families that lived there. Yet, we were able to go at our own pace and just look around. She was ready to answer any questions we had and gave us good advice about some other local attractions and restauants.

“Donna Marie is a great guide!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 July 2012

We learned so much about the history of Abingdon from our brief walk through the Fields-Penn home. Donna Marie, our guide, was very knowledgeable and added color and personality to the rooms.

I enjoyed touring this house with my friend. I've actually been through it twice. Each time I learned something new.
