Description: Opened in 1998 in the West End of historic Alexandria, Virginia, Clyde's at Mark Center is a vivid celebration of sporting life on the water. Thirty-five years after Clyde's opened in Georgetown, this property showcases our evolution from restaurants to full-scale atmospheres. From an Adirondack fishing camp to a Chesapeake Bay hunt club, each room memorializes the beauty and adventure found on the water. When you can't visit Nantucket in person, Mark Center is gloriously outfitted with antique model sailboats, a replica Potomac boathouse and a cozy beach shack and bait shop that's ready to welcome any sea dog.

I went here with a friend to catch up after a vacation abroad. The restaurant is close to the house and convenient. The service is always good and the Adirondack Room is the best choice and pleasant. . One problem is the cooking odors that are not pleasant. The restaurant does not have appropritate blowers to take out the odors and I smell them every time I come here.
The restaurant gets good marks from me on willingness to substitute from or to improvise a variation of what they are offering on the menu.

You can have a nice date inside or a beer in a t-shirt with some chicken wings. To be both "almost" high end and casual is rare to do well, and they do. A great alternative to chain dining

I thought that this would be very upscale, but it's more casual to upscale. Families there- but the place was outstanding! Great food, Great beers on tap, and service was amazing! Even when busy they kept up, the manager had his sleeves up and was helping. I was in awe, some of the best service and best overall experience I had in the area.

This is a another review of a real Alexandria institution. I have eaten here at least 20 times over the years. The food here almost always delivers with corresponding great service. This time we had crab cakes which were delicious. They were on special so we could get a plate of two for $18.95. We had a glass of wine and a great dessert coffee to finish the lunch. We sat in the Adirondack room which is relaxing and smartly appointed. The only place with comparable value in the same vicinity is the Carlyle Grand in Shirlington. These two are great values because the food always delivers and the service is well trained and on top of their game.

Very nice server and atmosphere. Food was another story. The fried calamari was extremely oily. I've had it at their Willow Creek Farm location, and it was delicious. My crab cake sandwich was also poor -- not lump meat, and they don't even bother to include a piece of lettuce or tomato. We would have been much better off ordering the same things at Carlyle in Shirlington.
