This is an unpretentious strip-mall restaurant that is a best-kept secret in the neighborhood.
I guess they have pizza (I've never ordered it) but they have darn good Mediterranean food made from scratch for reasonable prices, so that's what I've gotten in my couple of times eating here. Their homemade soup is terrific - on Saturday the special is a Lemon Chicken & Rice soup that is exceptionally good. This is not Greek Avgolemono Soup, that's a little different and is a special on a different day. Their sandwiches come on amazing rolls and get top marks. Their salads are quite good. And if you get an entree, they have really good Greek bread on the side. The family is Greek and they have some Greek entrees, as well as pasta and burgers. I keep wanting to get Baklava but I'm always too stuffed.
My grandkids give high marks for the milkshakes, made to order. And really everything is between good and great. Oh, they even have a liquor license, so you can get a glass of wine or beer with your meal. Family-friendly service, home-made food, good prices.
Now, this is NOT swanky. Be warned. There are booths along the perimeter of the restaurant on both sides, with tables in the middle. In the back there is a private dining room, where they seat overflow diners if there is no event going on. One time there was a tour bus with a high school sports team passing through that had a pizza buffet set up for them. Another time was a birthday party.
They are open for lunch and dinner, and breakfast/brunch on the weekends. There is a little Custard Ice Cream walk-up by the front door that does a good neighborhood business, too.
If you are in the neighborhood of Belle View Shopping Center, stop by some time. I've been visiting family in the neighborhood for 6 years and I only JUST discovered this place in the last 6 months. Don't let this happen to you!
