“More Mediterranean than just Pizza”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

This is an unpretentious strip-mall restaurant that is a best-kept secret in the neighborhood.

I guess they have pizza (I've never ordered it) but they have darn good Mediterranean food made from scratch for reasonable prices, so that's what I've gotten in my couple of times eating here. Their homemade soup is terrific - on Saturday the special is a Lemon Chicken & Rice soup that is exceptionally good. This is not Greek Avgolemono Soup, that's a little different and is a special on a different day. Their sandwiches come on amazing rolls and get top marks. Their salads are quite good. And if you get an entree, they have really good Greek bread on the side. The family is Greek and they have some Greek entrees, as well as pasta and burgers. I keep wanting to get Baklava but I'm always too stuffed.

My grandkids give high marks for the milkshakes, made to order. And really everything is between good and great. Oh, they even have a liquor license, so you can get a glass of wine or beer with your meal. Family-friendly service, home-made food, good prices.

Now, this is NOT swanky. Be warned. There are booths along the perimeter of the restaurant on both sides, with tables in the middle. In the back there is a private dining room, where they seat overflow diners if there is no event going on. One time there was a tour bus with a high school sports team passing through that had a pizza buffet set up for them. Another time was a birthday party.

They are open for lunch and dinner, and breakfast/brunch on the weekends. There is a little Custard Ice Cream walk-up by the front door that does a good neighborhood business, too.

If you are in the neighborhood of Belle View Shopping Center, stop by some time. I've been visiting family in the neighborhood for 6 years and I only JUST discovered this place in the last 6 months. Don't let this happen to you!

“Great place to take the family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

This is a great place that has something to please everyone - including picky eaters and those on a diet. The food is delicious, the staff very friendly, and it has an old fashioned diner vibe. I take my kids to eat here as the portions are large, tasty, and they can always find something they want. The other bonus is it's not fancy. If you're starving and you want great food fast, then come here. No need to change your outfit. It's casual. I highly recommend getting the soft serve ice cream/yogurt for dessert. It is fabulous. Even my grumpy dad liked the place.

“Great food and for family!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 September 2013 via mobile

I went to Primos with my entire family, and we really enjoyed our stay! We had pizza, cheesesteaks and salads, and each was splendid. The hostess and wait staff were very kind and friendly, which made for an even nicer visit. Great job! Highly recommend

“More than Pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2013

This is a wonderful family restaurant that features Greek/Italian dishes and, of course, Pizza. Prices are moderate and service is excellent. If the owner, Jimmy, doesn't greet you at the door with "come on in, great to see you!) it means he probably has the day off. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday features an economical special and outstanding Eggs Benedict. There is usually a soup of the day that is certainly worth a try.

“Yummy gyros!”

Stopped in with my sister-in-law who lives nearby. Loved the gyro platter and enjoyed a carafe of wine. Great value and will definitely be back.
