Stopped in for a couple of drinks and stayed for hours. Thank goodness for the free trolley! The Guinness is perfect as well as the atmosphere and company. If you like anything about an Irish pub you'll want to be stopping by.

We went in Murphy's for an afternoon drink during Happy Hour. Cute pub with very good service. Didn't try any food but the menu looked good.

They had a wonderful Irish singer entertaining and ready for requests...a very happy occassion. Everyone was joining in with the festivities. The food was typical Irish Pub, very tasty and reasonably priced...lots of specials

Four of us stopped in after strolling on King Street, and immediately liked the atmosphere. Fun Irish Pub, although tables are rather close. My companion and I had great lunches....he had the Murphy Burger, I had the pulled pork. But the other couple we were with were disappointed. The clam chowder was just "okay," and the salads were wilted. The bread that supposedly came with the soup was a cold roll that seemed to have just been taken out of the fridge. The cole slaw and cottage fries were great.

Took the tube from Arlington, Va just to go to Murphy's Irish Pub. Took one look at the menu and ordered bangers and mash. The potatoes were really really good. I'd recommend Murphy's especially if you're in the area.
