“A Delicious Bit of SEOUL Right Here in Annandale, VA”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

Before you enter the restaurant the aromas draw you in. The decor is very basic, almost like eating out on a patio with stainless steel look tables and a concrete floor. Noise level is rather high BUT the food is fabulous if you like authentic Korean food and we do. The kimchi dishes are superb. Noodle dishes are supremely deilicious. Bulgogi is one of the best I have eaten anywhere including in Korea. Ribs are great. With all the fabulous choices, suggest you not waste time on the dumplings which are just mediocre but enjoy everything else. Service is quick, efficient, attentive, and friendly. If you enjoy ethnic foods, make sure you treat yourself here!

“Korean experience”
Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

We tried different types of meat: LA Galbi, bulgogi and pork neck. They were all good but my fav was the LA Galbi.
We also had the seafood pancake. It was so - so. I already had better before.
The cold buckwheat noodles are served with some cucumber and slices of meat. It's good but I need some time to get used to it. It's a very different flavor.
Attentive service.
Around $30/pp.

“Really Good!”
Reviewed 29 April 2014 via mobile

Hard to find, but well worth it. We went for lunch and for $30, we had a lot to take home. Meat was incredibly tender, from the two items we ordered off the luncheon menu.Seafood pancake was delicious. We were asked at least three times by three different servers if they could get us anything else. Condiments were outstanding, especially the spicy cucumbers and quickly replenished. The decor is not fancy, but we went there to eat good food, not hold hands!

“One of my absolute favorite places”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

Honey Pig in Annandale has become an absolute must every time I travel to D.C for business. I never leave for home till I've at least eaten there once. Authentic food for a great price. For those of you looking for a place that is very reminiscent of many mom and pop Korean restaurants in Seoul, Honey Pig is the place for you! With K-drama's playing the big screens, Kpop music playing on the sound system, the smell of grilling meat wafting through the air, the sweet ahjumma's serving some of the best food you can find in the states, and enough tasty soju to invoke the need for a designated driver, Honey Pig will easily become a staple during any and every trip to the area with out a doubt. If you've never experienced Korean food, good Korean food, I highly suggest this restaurant.

Note: Honey Pig is open 24/7. So, if you have a craving for Korean food at 4am you're all set. I would also recommend the Noraebang (Korean Karaoke Bar) next door!

“Lacks all decor and TOO loud!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014

The food is average to good Korean food. The service is quick. But, this place is so loud that if you are going with friends, you'll only be able to have a conversation is you all are texting each other on your phones. The décor is reminiscent of the interior of an airplane hanger. The wine is awful.
I was expecting something wonderful from the reviews but there are nicer Korean restaurants with equivalent to better food and drink within a few blocks!
