If you're in the area it is very neat to stop by and see the Pentagon. It is still the world's largest, non-highrise office building, but it is as much a part of our culture as any other building there. Tours can be hard to get, but if you get one expect to do a lot of walking along the corridors while viewing America's military history. There's not a lot of rooms you can duck into to check it out on the tour because, like I just mentioned, it is an office building and people are busy working. The building is impressive enough from the outside; it is simply massive and I don't think it's size gets conveyed well in a film's overhead shot. Don't expect to take too many selfies outside the Pentagon either, they have no photography signs posted around the building with the exception of the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. But if you're lucky enough to get a tour or are in the area, check it out.
