“Nice, but out of the way”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 February 2013

It is a nice memorial and offers an decent little museum, but unless you're already there, it isn't worth the time. Regular parking is very far away, but I think there is parking for VIPs and special event attendees. The auditorium is big and pretty nice - decent place for a retirement ceremony etc..

“Long overdo!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 February 2013

Another really moving statue and one that is long overdue! I remember sending money to get this statue built. Woman have served in the Armed Services, often as nurses, since the country was established. High time this was finally built!

“Very impressive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 January 2013

Take the time to go through this building-you will be glad you did. It makes you look deeper into the number of women that have served in the military. Very nice photographs and paintings.

“Gorgeous Memorial - Definitely Visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2012

I've been to Arlington a number of times, but never thought to enter into the Women's Memorial; what a mistake I've been making. The Memorial is set into the side of a hill and hides rich exhibits about women in the service. The staff is friendly and you'll have several great picture taking areas.

“It's About Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 December 2012

It's about time we honor the military service of women. Proud to see such a memorial. Remember. It is only since 1920 that women could vote in the USA and women still do not have full combat military service rights. A ways to go, and this memorial reminds us of this fact.
