On a road trip from California to northwest Washington, we called A Harbor View, Aberdeen, Washington, from the car to make a reservation. Cindy, the owner, said she had a room and included a breakfast in the morning. The Inn is on a hill with other lovely homes from the same era (around 1905). When we arrived around 8:30pm she put us in the nanny's room (she called it, and it was huge), with a large bathroom. She gave us a tour, which included a "kitchen," dining room, living room with a fireplace for guests to relax, and a sun room where the breakfast would be served. The bed was kingsize and comfortable. Robes were provided. Flat screen TV. It was very quiet. We slept very well, and the breakfast was delightful with coffee, juice, fruit, homemade pastries, and a quiche prepared and served by Cindy. The homemade biscuits were delicious. The conversation at the table with other travelers was fun. We'd like to stay at Harbor View again.
