“A Harbor View Inn”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2012

What a wonderful place this is. We were in the Windsor room--very spacious, confortable, with a view of the harbor and every amenity imaginable. The breakfast was one of the best we've had: fresh fruits, scones, quiche, excellent coffee, all expertly prepared by Cindy.

Room Tip: For us, the larger room with a view was worth the extra cost

I had the please of staying at the Harbor View Inn for two nights while on a business trip to Aberdeen. My room was excellent! The view of the harbor was great.

While the decor is a lot of wonderful antiques everywhere, it was very homey. The bed was extremely comfortable and the attached bathroom was clean and spacious.

The inn keepers were delightful and friendly.

On a road trip from California to northwest Washington, we called A Harbor View, Aberdeen, Washington, from the car to make a reservation. Cindy, the owner, said she had a room and included a breakfast in the morning. The Inn is on a hill with other lovely homes from the same era (around 1905). When we arrived around 8:30pm she put us in the nanny's room (she called it, and it was huge), with a large bathroom. She gave us a tour, which included a "kitchen," dining room, living room with a fireplace for guests to relax, and a sun room where the breakfast would be served. The bed was kingsize and comfortable. Robes were provided. Flat screen TV. It was very quiet. We slept very well, and the breakfast was delightful with coffee, juice, fruit, homemade pastries, and a quiche prepared and served by Cindy. The homemade biscuits were delicious. The conversation at the table with other travelers was fun. We'd like to stay at Harbor View again.

Room Tip: Talk to the owner Cindy about your needs and what you like.

Staying here was a wonderful way to start off our trek into Olympic National Park. We stayed in the Harbor View room. It was excellent!!!!! Great views of the neighborhood. Speaking of the neighborhood, Cindy put together a great booklet featuring 51 historic homes in the area. You can walk around and read about each one and the fascinating history behind them. Wow!! She did an amazing job on it. From the beginning of our stay to the end Cindy made sure we had all we needed. She was friendly and helpful and in no way over bearing. It was a joy and delight to stay here. The rate was excellent for what we received. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again. It was GREAT!!!! Thanks Cindy for all you did to make the start of our vacation so pleasant.

Room Tip: We loved the Harbor View room. Very Spacious with excellent views!

Our room was large and the bathroom was spacious with two sinks. The bed was very comfortable. This B&B has a nice large area in which to sit and read or to visit with friends. The breakfast was very tasty and nicely presented. Nice view of the harbor.

We pulled into Aberdeen around 9pm and had booked this B&B through internet research. The Inn is located toward the top of a bluff with other large homes built in the 1920's. We had the Windsor Suite for our stay. The suite was very large with a King bed, a large closet and our own private bath. Robes were provided along with a electric fireplace and nice sized tv. The bed was so comfortable and we had a view of the harbor from windows and another window to view the homes below.

Our breakfast was very good and the dining room was set in a room with all very large windows to see the view.

We would definately go back to this B&B again.

If you want quiet, views, and Victorian style, excellent healthy food....this is the place. Found it on line and loved every bit of it. Any thing you want and need is here. Cindy, the owner is so sweet and gracious it was like I have know her all my life. Our breakfast was out on the glassed in porch area and there was soft lovely music playing while we ate. Cindy's breakfasts are delicious and she uses high quality, healthy foods, and there is more than enough to eat!!!

My only draw back was the stairs....but I knew that would be a problem for my knees. Cindy's husband, Bill took my bags up and then back down when we left as this was a gal pal spring get-a-way. I will go back!!!

Room Tip: Best bathroom is in the Windsor Room, with a King Bed and also a lovely white twin bed. Double sinks...
