This old and shabby little restaurant has great Mexican food and EXCEPTIONALLY good prices, with friendly, helpful staff. If you get there first thing in the morning, the coffee is free with your meal, made with a secret recipe that is very enjoyable ~ breakfast burritos are big enough for two. We had tacos for a late lunch today, and fish tacos the Friday before. Their salsa bar has a VERY GOOD selelction of assorted fresh salsas, fried/browned onions, radishes, and more. Each meal comes with a basket of corn chips, which are also available to buy by the bag.
The restaurant had been a local subshop many years ago, and although shabby ~ old and worn, it appears clean. The TV was on and tuned to a Mexcian station, but not too loud. Cold beverages are in a cooler. Ordering is done at the back counter and the food is brought to the table. The bathroom was clean.
