We wanted to get away for one night but did not want to travel far....this place was above what we expected. The great room is beautiful with a huge river rock fireplace, our room was impeccable and large with a comfortable bed. The jetted tub was better than most hot tubs! There were other couples there, but we didn't hear a thing. It is nice to getaway from it all, even if for only one night, and truly getaway! It's close to town but literally in the woods. We felt relaxed, comfortable and ready to go back again soon! Bob and Lisa were fabulous hosts, they love their B and B and their passion for their home shows. They did say no real candles (I had brought one) but they did provide LED candles that created the same ambience. Everything for breakfast was fresh, delicious and filling. One of the best getaways that we have had in a long time. I only wish we could have stayed the entire weekend!

Room Tip: The rooms with the double jetted tubs are the best!

My husband Paul and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary by staying at the River Rock Inn and it was as amazing as the other 4 times we have stayed there! We love it as a place to get away for three or four nights of peace and quiet from our hectic busy lives. They have everything we want in a bed and breakfast: comfy bed, jetted tub and warm, comfortable and quiet surroundings. And don't forget the breakfast! Lisa and Bob cook the most amazing breakfast ever, while taking into account Paul's food alergies of wheat, onion and garlic.

We had arranged to have a facial and massage and when one therapist had to cancel due to sickness they went above and beyond to make sure another therapist was arranged for us. Cheri gives the most amazing facial ever!!! We felt totally relaxed and refreshed after:) Don't miss out on that if you go!

Everything about the River Rock Inn is great. However the best two things about this place are Bob and Lisa themselves! They are two of the most loving, warm and caring individuals we have ever met. They have great senses of humour and we love when they can steal a few minutes away with us or when waiter Bob is telling stories at breakfast! Bob and Lisa you meet as guests but you leave as friends! We have stayed at many B & B's before but this is the one we always come back to because they always make us feel right at home.

Read the other positive reviews on this sight and you will see that 60 out of 65 reviews are very good or excellent. You can't please everybody, all the time, but I would sure bet Lisa and Bob would try! We hope to celebrate many more anniversaries with visits to see Bob, Lisa, Paint and Cheyenne (the dogs) and Rocket Rocky (the cat).

Room Tip: The Cedar and Stilly Suites are our favorites because of the jetted tubs:)

We went here to get away and saw how pretty it was on line. It was on an old country road - woods in the back. When we arrived, no one was at the inn so we waited in the car. We felt a little odd because we were the only ones at the inn and the guy seemed to be following us around. The wife mainly was in the kitchen. We almost were creeped out and afraid to go to bed. We never felt that way in a B & B or even a hotel. I know this sounds off the wall, but the whole experience staying just one night was scary. When we left we were so happy. I honestly don' t understand the good remarks about this place.

My husband and I stayed here a couple years back and although the establishment is beautiful, we were afraid to touch anything. Notes all through the bedroom and bathroom with instructions on what not to do. Made us feel a little weird. There isn't a restaurant nearby, so we ate dinner there. It was pretty good, but because we were the only 'guests', it felt odd. We felt like we were being watched all the time and it just didn't feel right. Even when we went for a walk, we were told our 'boundaries.' Honestly, we were happy to leave, but I don't want to sound mean. They are nice people; just not our cup of tea.

Absolutely fantastic stay.....Bob and Lisa were amazing hosts and the Inn was excellent in all respects....Bedrooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable.....Woke up to a roaring fire in the great room and a breakfast that was first class.....Oh and for us, the mark of an outstanding B&B is not just the property itself....Bob made reservations for us at a local restaurant he recommended and viola....perfect dinner at Bistro St. Martin.....Wow....we will be back....
