The site is a mixture of ruins from over a longish period, pre-Roman, Roman, early Christian with later Venation and Ottoman fortifications. Nicely wooded for hot weather with lovely views over the nearby lake. A largely level path takes you on a circular tour through the ruins to an interesting small museum from which it is a short walk back to the entrance. Well worth a visit.
