Safe, clean hotel with very convenient location if you want to explore downtown Manaus. The town's main attraction, Manaus Opera House, is just around the corner. So is the cutest square of the town, best eateries, and the few decent gift shops in this otherwise unattractive town.
Rooms are very basic, but sufficient for good sleep; the breakfast is also basic. The staff tries its best with always a big smile, but they are not necessarily the most experienced and skilled in the world. And beware, it is almost impossible to communicate with them if you don't speak basic Portuguese - which is the case all around Manaus.
One time we needed it, the toilet in the reception area was so dirty that we could not use it. Luckily, no such happenings in our room or elsewhere in the hotel.More
