The hotel itself is very clean, safe and secure. However if you do not speak Portuguese expect long delays with communication. Their phone system has English prompts however it is a marketing technique. Overall I am very satisfied with this hotel and the rate I paid per night. Restaurant on-site, clean rooms - however it is not sound proof and if you face the main rua expect dogs barking, roosters crowing, ect. throughout the night. I would stay here again only because of its location, price and safety. Parking is paid but affordable and secure.

We stayed in this hotel before and after our Amazon trip. This hotel is located in a very nice spot. You can easily walk to many of the restaurants and the opera house. The rooms are very clean though it kind of reminds of an ikea showcase. Check-in/out was immediate however the staff did not really speak English very well. The breakfast was decent, but the internet connection was great.

I would def stay in this hotel again on my next visit to Manaus.

We stayed here on two separate nights on both ends of our Amazon trip in April. The first night it took nearly 1/2 an hour to get checked in (we arrived at around midnight) and they were having a problem with the card keys for the rooms so we couldn't have a key, which ended up being a problem because the key operated the elevator and kept the electrical things working in the room (it must be a country-wide thing to have the card key operate the electrical in your room so that when you leave you won't leave anything on). Anyway, they apologized profusely but it was as though no one could foresee that we needed a card to operate everything in the hotel because they just sent a maintenance guy up to open the room for us and then he left ... very frustrating to have to go back down to the front desk, wait my turn again, and then get things figured out.

On the plus side, good breakfast, clean room, nice LCD TV, great location for the hotel, and generally good value.

On the negative side they wanted to charge us ... I think it was 8 rials (about $4) per bag to store our bags while we were out on our Amazon trip (and coming back to the same hotel for another night). We just stuck them in our tour operators office for free.

Thanks for letting us know about your experience in staying with us.
We regret the incident with the keys, really had a problem with the technical and mechanical machine that magnetizes the key cards, a problem that took a longer time than desired by us for concert equipment.
The reason we do charge for storing luggage is the high volume of baggage to guard and little physical space of the room, especially with our guests staying a night and go to the jungle and wish to leave the bags at the hotel.
Thank you for your comments they are very important for our improvement process.
cordially

Safe, clean hotel with very convenient location if you want to explore downtown Manaus. The town's main attraction, Manaus Opera House, is just around the corner. So is the cutest square of the town, best eateries, and the few decent gift shops in this otherwise unattractive town.
Rooms are very basic, but sufficient for good sleep; the breakfast is also basic. The staff tries its best with always a big smile, but they are not necessarily the most experienced and skilled in the world. And beware, it is almost impossible to communicate with them if you don't speak basic Portuguese - which is the case all around Manaus.
One time we needed it, the toilet in the reception area was so dirty that we could not use it. Luckily, no such happenings in our room or elsewhere in the hotel.

We arrived in Manaus late in the evening on a flight from Miami so we didn't get to the hotel until nearly midnight. Check-in was very slow (30 minutes between entering the hotel and getting our room key) with just one receptionist dealing with a host of groups checking in. It seems to be a trend that flights arrive into Manaus late in the evening creating a bottleneck at hotel receptions in the city.

Our room was on the ground floor. The room itself was clean, simple and functional although there was the glaring omission of missing lightbulbs from one of the bed lamps and the area just outside our room door in the corridor had exposed pipes and wiring in the ceiling. The double bed was made up of two singles pushed together, never ideal due to the gap this leaves down the centre. The air conditioning was pretty unwieldy and positioned right over the bed. This meant it was on the cold side even with the temperature on the remote turned way up. The safe worked just like any other electronic hotel safe. We didn't use the TV but it was an LCD flat screen.

The bathroom consisted of just the toilet and the shower cubicle (no bathtub) with the sink being in the main room. The bathroom was on the small side and not very well ventilated. There was a simple hair dryer in the room.

Breakfast was good with a selection of tropical fruits, cereals, breads, scrambled eggs, cheese and ham with everything marked with the calorific content.

Overal it looks like one of the better hotels in Manaus and good for a short stopover before/after a jungle trip. In many ways its comparable to a Premier Inn in the UK.

During your hosting why the plumbing in the hallway, was the exchange of pipe insulation of air-conditioning and a repair in this system, as the lack of lamps already orient our maintenance staff so that they are more attentive to these details daily.

We hope your return to our hotel is coming soon.

I found this hotel through trip advisor and would highly recommended. I wanted a cheap, but comfortable room for the one night my fiancee and I were planning to stay in the city before heading to the jungle in Manaus. The hotel was very clean, offered a decent continental breakfast, and was in a great location. I would use it again. I also found the staff to be courteous and friendly, and a few spoke English.

Go Inn is a very comfortable hotel. It is very conveniently located to many of the tourists attractions, specially the Teatro Amazonas, the college and a park. The room and hotel were clean. The reception desk staff were very accommodating, friendly and efficient. We stayed there both on our way to the Tariri Amazon Lodge and on our way back from there, so I was able to leave my excess baggage at the hotel while I was travelling light in the Amazon jungle. The Internet was complimentary, which is a great feature as we had to keep in touch with our family. There is parking, but we did not use that facility. Breakfast is included and is an adequate buffet consisting of fruit juices, breads, scrambled eggs, fruits, coffee/tea. There is a convenience store right behind the reception desk which has snacks and frozen food if you did not want to go out to eat. A fridge in the room gives you the opportunity to refrigerate your soft drinks, etc. The hallways have sensor lights which turn on as you go along, which is a great feature when we are all working towards energy efficiency. TV in the room has enough channels for entertainment. The showers worked well with hot water available. On the weekend, the streets are isolated and don't feel safe, but on weekdays, they were like another city, where you can walk comfortably.
