I have a few complaints about the hotel. The room was not swept before as evident from the hair/debris on the ground. The front desk was not helpful. I had spare time before my flight, and they basically said there isn't anything to do or place to eat near by. I stayed at another business hotel during my stay, and the staff was exceedingly helpful making recommendations and giving directions. If the staff here didn't readily know the answer, they weren't making any extra effort to find out. As some of the other reviewers mentioned, their restaurant food is poor. My pasta tasted like the sauce was a combination of tomato paste and olive oil with no noticeable flavor. The construction outside started around 9am, and don't plan on doing anything (including thinking) during that time. As for the positives, the bed was quite comfortable. The staff also called Pizza Hut when I didn't want to order their pizza. The common areas were clean and stylish. The staff was professional if unhelpful.

My family and I arrived in Manaus late in the evening and needed a place to stay the night before setting out on an Amazon adventure. The Caesar Business Manaus hotel is about the same distance from the airport as other hotels so we chose it based on its good rating. Although we spent little time in the hotel, the check-in was fast, the rooms very clean and quiet, the breakfast buffet solid, and overall a great choice for business travelers or families who need a night to stay.

We did not experience the renovation issues mentioned in another review so perhaps those projects have been completed by the time we got there.

The Caesar Business Hotel is admittedly a good hotel for a business traveler. The rooms are simple and European in style, with bed(s), desk, TV, and credenza. The bath has a large shower with excellent water pressure, but no tub. There is a mini-bar and snacks, which are over-priced, especially since there's a 24-hour gas station immediately next door to the hotel.

As other reviewers have noted, the breakfast buffet is very good, and the kitchen will cook eggs to order. And, as noted, the kitchen is unusually bad for dinner.

The fitness center on the top floor has a couple treadmills and ellipticals, a universal-style weight machine and dumbbells. There is also a deck area on the top floor just outside the fitness room. The pool is about 30 feet across, thus not really usable for fitness swimming.

Of note: The hotel is undergoing repairs to the exterior walls on all floors. The staff advised that repairs will be ongoing through July, August, and possibly into September of 2013. The repairs involve jackhammering and drilling to remove the current exterior material. It is absolutely impossible to sleep during the day, even to just take a nap. Although a net is in place to catch the dust, it is so badly torn that the dust from the work falls into the pool, making the water muddy. In addition, the cabling that supports the worker's scaffolding prevents use of the roof-top deck at this time.

Overall the hotel is fine, especially if your schedule in Manaus will not be disrupted by the daytime construction work.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 12th floor immediately under the fitness center should be avoided.

Who is used to Caesar standard will enjoy this hotel.

The hotel delivers what is promissed for a fair price.

Comfortable bed guarantees you sleep and the accomodation is enough even for a long stay in the city.

Well located, very close to downtown and the majority of recommendable bars and restaurants.

Next to a shopping mall, it's good for go shopping if needed. Good for business, good for leisure.

There is a gym facilities are great with good appliance to work out.

Good breakfast with various options in a comfortable restaurant.

Go and enjoy

Room Tip: Try high floors due to the traffic jam quite often in front of the hotel

A fairly new hotel, in a fairly central location. The hotel is clean and modern with all expected facilities. Breakfast is buffet style and offer a nice selection of local fruit juices. Apart from breakfast the restaurant should be avoided at all cost: they cannot even cook a simple burger, the steak was tough as a piece of rubber and the pizza was very sweet (I sure I didn't order it from the dessert menu).
Amazonas shopping mall conveniently located 5 min walk from the hotel.

Hyatts and Grand Hyatts are my favourites types of hotel as I regard them as very good value for what you pay. There aren't in Brazil (except for Sao Paulo) but this hotel looked a lot like the standards I like.

Verey, very good value proposition.

This hotel is clean and up to date. It has modern amenities and a sense of sophistication for the business travelers.
The beds are comfortable but the rooms are a bit small.
It has good security in elevators to only allow use if one has a room card key. I actually like that feature as you feel a sense of security especially when You're not from the area.
The hotel itself has high ceilings so it doesn't feel stuffy or cramped. The view from the roof (which is where the pool is located) is very nice. The location of hotel is only a 2 minute walk to a shopping mall.

Only draw back is that the breakfast and food items are way over priced.

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights and she approved of the cleanliness and the room. Overall we would stay here again.

Hint: use Hotwire to book this place. It's under the 4 star hotels category. When we stayed it was 106.00/night. It's normally 250-300/night.

Enjoy
