I liked this place. It was not luxurious by any means, but it was clean and the staff were friendly. It really was what I was expecting from a place in the jungle. We went piranha fishing and did the "meeting of the waters" tour. My wish is that it would be good to be able to book the tours in advance. You could only do it on arrival, which means we missed doing seeing the monkeys, as it was not available that weekend. The internet worked in the reception area, but only there. The AC worked fine and there were mosquito nets in every window.

Thank you for writing your experience during your stay at our hotel.
You probably got to us through the international sites that sell us only with overnight stays with breakfast. In this case it is correct that tours are available only upon arrival . We offer packages with prepaid tours that are for sale in various travel agencies worldwide and directly in our reservation center.
We were very happy with your visit.

We were attracted to this lodge by previous favourable reviews but we were disappointed by every aspect except for the guide. The staff were surly, the food was poor and not replenished and to be advertised as an ecological friendly lodge is misleading. The tour to see the merging of the Rio Negro and Amazon was very long and tedious except if you were then willing to purchase an additional package to come back on a faster speed boat and see a native colony. It was very sad to see loads of plastic bottles floating in the rivers. Everything seem to be very commercialised and having previously visited the Pantanal wetlands area, by comparison there was little wildlife to see in the area. Although there are many more mosquitoes in the Pantanal, if you want a more ecological friendly wildlife experience there is no choice to be made.

Amazon is a unique place on the planet, with different scenary throughout the year.
In fact the Pantanal region , also depending on the season, is the correct region in Brazil to see more animals.
We are very surprised with the information that our staff was not kind in general. This is also one of the highlights of our lodge, our services and employees.
Our food is generally highly praised by most of the guests and we regret that it was not of your taste.
We are sorry that your experience at our jungle lodge was not exciting for you.

I went with my mother and my sister. We stayed at the hotel for four days and we enjoyed most of the tours they offer, such as the Nature Hike, the visit to the Monkey Forest, the Visit to a "Caboclo" House, the Canoe Evening Tour to enjoy the sounds of the forest, the Full Day Tour to the "Meeting of the Waters" phenomenon, we also went Fishing in the afternoon, and a night canoeing adventure to look for some alligators. Those tours were awesome, and the landscapes were really stunning!!!! I consider it a wild trip in which we could rest but also get to know an incredible place and incredible people. The tour guides were very welcoming and they knew A LOT about the fauna and flora of the place. The hotel is very pretty. The rooms are like bungalows. You have to walk a bit to each room. It's nice since you have the pathway goes throught the jungle. At night it's thrilling since the light is not that bright and so you may encouter any insect (or animal) while you walk. The wi-fi does not work properly in the lobby (the only place you can log in) but it's good in some way since you have the chance to get disconnected from the world and enjoy the sounds and beautiful views of the jungle.
I 100% recommend this place. Go and visit Ecopark Amazon Jungle Lodge. You'll never regret it!!!!!!

Room Tip: Any room is quiet since they are located far from the lobby and into the wild jungle :)

We stayed here for the standard 3 nights and 2 days. The transfer to and from Manaus involves 2 boats and a van - a bit of adventure in itself. We had a river lodge built on stilts over the Juma lake. We had a great guide, Leon, who took a group of 6 of us on excursions. These included day and night jungle walks, hunting for caymen and piranha fishing. All good fun if you have a sense of humour. There's no air-con and it gets very sticky - but insects are minimal

We stayed at the Ecopark Jungle Lodge for just a day following a week long mission trip along the Rio Negro. We had previously stayed at an EcoLodge in the Amazon in Peru so we had something to compare it to. First of all, this lodge is very close to Manaus so if you are only going to be in Manaus for a short time, this is a good way to see the jungle without going too far out. Personally, I didn't find much of interest in the city of Manaus so if you are going to be there for more than a day, this might be a good choice for a couple of days. We arrived early in the morning and the rooms were fine, The AC was working and the grounds were very nicely kept. We were able to have the breakfast buffet when we arrived and while it wasn't extensive, it was adequate. We took a hike into the jungle which lasted about 2 hours. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us a lot of functional plant life. We didn't see any animals but the hike was still interesting. While we were eating lunch, some of the staff found a sloth on the grounds and brought it over for us to see. They didn't let us hold it as it was wild but we were able to see if up close. (There are other places in the Manaus area that have pet sloths that you can hold for a small fee). After lunch we went over to the monkey island where we saw the wooly monkeys. We were able to get photos with a monkey on our shoulders....very interesting. There was also a turtle pond with the Amazon turtles and the natural swimming pools which we didn't use. The food overall was okay and there was plenty of it. We enjoyed our day there and it might have been fun to do some of the other tours if we had had another day. We had already done the Meeting of the Waters with a boat out of Manaus and also stopped at a place along the river for lunch and a short jungle walk. Overall, the lodge was fine for a place so close in. If you want a more remote jungle experience, you will need to travel further out (the one that we did in Peru was about 5 hours out from the airport). The reason I gave this 4 stars was because the only part of the lodge I didn't like was the return boat ride over to the pier where we were picked up for the airport transportation. We were traveling at night and there was a lot of water coming into the boat from the wake over the sides soaking those of us in the back. They finally put up some side curtains but by then my hair and clothing were already soaked and I had a 5 hour overnight flight in wet clothes. I think the boat crew should have been more careful about not getting the passengers wet.

Thank you very much to report your experience in our property.
We were very happy to know that your brief visit to the Brazilian Amazon was compensatory.
We apologize for the inconvenience of the rain that wet your clothes during the transfer back to Manaus. We will warn the boat's employee that did not perform the correct procedure to avoid wetting customers.
