This is an excellent hotel with friendly hospitable people. The loction is central and great for getting a the vibe of this historic city. We were given good advice about personbal safety, local events and landmarks.

We had a good laugh with Adriano one of the Waiting team during breakfast and evening meals. The food was really great and as good as coule be found anywhere else.

Highly recommended.

What a gem of a hotel. We travelled from the Airport at night to the hotel with a little trepidation. The hotel was in a narrow quiet street where you felt you should not be out alone!! Once inside you were treated to a wonderful experience of boutique indulgence. Great decor, superb rooms with cosy beds and large fluffed up pillows. The breakfasts are fantastic and the roof-top bar and pool is a must. Experience the sunset with a dip in the pool and a chilled glass of Caipirinha. During the day, the street outside is a hive of activity and bustle. Ideally situated to tour the sites of this lovely city. The owners and staff are so friendly. I would never stay anywhere else in Salvador.

This is a lovely hotel located in a great spot in Salvador. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the bed in our room was the biggest I have ever slept in. We only stayed for three days but enjoyed the restaurant and the pool area, however one day we experienced a rather unpleasant smell that permeated the whole room. The maintenance man, however was called and arrived immediately to address the problem.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of the old town. it is clean, well run and very bijou. The staff are really helpful and attentive and try really hard to overcome any difficulties with language barriers. The food is great and our room was beautiful. It overlooked the bay and had a small balcony. It had an oversized bed but there was still plenty of room.
The swimming pool despite being small was a lovely place to swim and relax in the afternoons when the humidity levels were high.
I would really recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be where the main life of the city is yet wants to be able to also get some peace and tranquitiy.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back have a better view and are quieter.

A hotel which exhibits all the postive features of a small establishment - the staff remember who you are and are flexible and responsive to particular needs and requests, overall a very warm environment. And of course the location is brilliant - in the centre of Pelourinho, which is the prime place to visit in Salvador, and in a section which is very well policed (so no worries on personal security). Yet the hotel feels calm and airy, with large windows, a small leafy garden next to which meals are served, and a top floor terrace overlooking the sea.

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the sea. The most expensive rooms have enormous beds. Wifi strength can vary...

Stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon and loved it. The hotel provided airport transfer upon our arrival. This hotel is perfectly located in Salvador in the heart of the action. Rooms are clean, have a great deck and an oversize fabulous bed. The hotel is safe and the staff monitor the front door. The hotel has a great restaurant available and there is a grocery store about a block away.

We cannot say enough about the incredible staff at this hotel. From the front desk to the room staff to even the considerate owner. All of these people helped us out. My husband had gotten food poisoning while enroute to Salvador and spent the entire stay in the room. The staff did everything they could to help and in our eyes went way above and beyond. We even had to cancel a private tour booked through the hotel, and the hotel owner was extremely helpful and accommodating to our situation.

I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat and stay here again equally as fast.

Thank you Hotel Casa for all your help!
