We stayed here for two weeks on a business trip and were pleased. The staff here are outstanding! They really care about their guests and immediately resolved any issues and answered any questions. They also discovered that my husband loves peanut butter cookies and so each night they saved him a handful of the cookies that are baked in-house and set out by the front desk.
The hotel strives to make their guests feel at home and they have several reading/relaxing areas off the lobby for guests that are furnished with sofas and chairs, flat screen televisions and a selection of books. The hotel is very clean and nicely landscaped.
We had a room on the first floor (there is a second floor but NO elevator so disabled guests be sure to reserve the first floor. Management says that they have plans to install an elevator) and it was very comfortable. The hotel has been newly remodeled and so the rooms have new carpet and linens. The room was nicely sized with a full-size (company budget) bed, nightstands, couch, desk and chair, closet with iron and board and extra pillows and blanket, flat screen television and separate bath. Standard amenities of soap, shampoo and conditioner and hand/body lotion are stocked in the bathroom which also has a blow-dryer. There was a dorm size refrigerator with a tiny freezer, a microwave and a coffee maker in the room.

The complimentary breakfast served in the dining area behind the lobby is the usual uninspired hotel fare consisting of pre-formed eggs, alternating bacon and sausage, waffle station, bagels, toast, pastries, three cold cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee. On weekends, the staff attempts to make biscuits and gravy but, for my Southern born and bred husband, they were not up to par. However, the hotel does offer a complimentary happy-hour from 5pm to 7pm in the bar just off of the lobby. The happy hour includes beer, wine, mixed drinks and soft drinks.
There is a huge indoor pool area that has a large pool, very nice hot tub with powerful jets that can seat twelve adults comfortably, water slide that is separate from the pool, and gaming area with some video games and crane games. A very nice feature is that some sort of soundproofing has been done because when there are screaming kids running about, there is none of the echo that is typical of most pool areas.
There are a plethora of both shopping and dining opportunities close to the hotel. IHOP is a five minute walk and a mall is about a ten...More
