I often meet friends here for lunch. It has a beautiful view of the river. In good weather it's nice to sit outside. The menu is varied. I was disappointed they removed the half sandwich/soup combo. That was always a nice option. It's been off the menu for a while, but I was hoping they would bring it back. I ordered a salad, which was very good. However the bread was hard as a rock and indelible! Since we were there on a Monday we assumed it was left from the weekend. That was unusual for them. I won't order that on a Monday again.

Enjoyed a selection of draft and bottled beers while sitting outside by the river. It's a really lovely spot with a nice atmosphere. The fried cheese curds were excellent, as was the service.

Great restaurant along the Fox River in Appleton. The view while sitting outside was fantastic. Too bad more people don't eat outside. We had the basil pesto pizza, with diced chicken, lettuce, Parmesan cheese (pizzalad), Tropical salad (chicken, pineapple, candied walnuts, craisins and other salad greens) and the Berry Salad which included chicken, bleu cheese, strawberries, and candied walnuts. Two of us had the lobster bisque soup and one had the roasted red pepper soup. Both were cream based. The inside of the restaurant was large, made to look old and had part of a train inside.Great place for groups, weddings, or small get togethers. Good for couples as well as families with children.

Enjoyed a nice birthday dinner there. Food was tasty and cooked to perfection. Views of the river and the fall colors and falling leaves was relaxing.

I am partial to Pullman's since my wedding reception was there in 09. Nothing but great comments back then and every time we go back we've always had great food and service. Matthew was our server this past time and he was very helpful and attentive. It was very hot outside so we chose to dine in. Can't beat the setting.
