My ex chose not to return to this restaurant awhile back citing inadequate food for the prices. I thought I would give it another try. At my son's suggestion, we went here on a Saturday afternoon. It was not crowded at all, but they asked if we would like to eat at the bar? I found that odd since my 13 y/o was with me. We opted for a table. It seemed a chore for the hostess to move to seat us. It took quite a while for the waitress to get to our table. Then they decided to sweep the floor right by our table getting dust everywhere and followed it by washing the window of our table twice while we were there, so we could smell cleaner during dinner. When the waitress returned to take our order and I asked them to stop cleaning by our table, she argued with me, but did begrudgingly agree. I'm all for a clean restaurant but they could certainly have cleaned before we sat there or sat us at one of the other empty tables as it was not crowded. Now to the food sigh- my son ordered pulled pork only to find that they no longer serve it. I asked for an entree pictured on the menu only to find that that was not available either. When my food arrived, it did not look appetizing. I turned it down and opted to pass on eating it. On a positive note, my son did like his burger and the appetizer of potato skins was also ok. The Jack Daniels ribs I've had in the past are also OK. This is why I give a poor versus terrible rating. However, if you are eating in Appleton, there are many better places includingTexas Roadhouse and Outback that you will enjoy much better. I hate to say it, but I've now found one thing my ex and I agree on.
