Absolutely stunning view from the top of the mountain..... you can see the entire city snd surroundings. Be sure to call for a schedule to watch a mass.

The sanctuary is a architectural heritage, absolutely stunning!

It is a quiet and wonderful place to visit. If you are a catholic, you can watch the Catholic Mass, but you must watch the schedule at the internet. The view that you have in this place is incredible, you can see all the city Vila Velha and also Vitoria city.

The hill top Convent is a steep and long walk from the base. Adequate parking is provided, there are numerous services throughout the day. Wonderful views of Vitoria.

Penha Convent (Portuguese: Convento da Penha) is a convent in Vila Velha, Brazil, on the top of a high mountain overlooking the cities of Vitória and Vila Velha. Founded in approximately 1558 by Pedro Palácios, today it is home to Espírito Santo's Patron Saint, Our Mother of Penha.
One gets some really fantastic views of the cities ...
